RE: RE-SCHEDULING OF THE NATSA-TESDA FUN-RUN 2024

Greetings!

Please be advised that NATSA-TESDA FUN RUN 2024 will be moved from February 24, 2024 (Saturday) to April 13, 2024 (Saturday), same time (04:00AM-10:00AM) at the Liwasang Ambahan, CCP Complex, Pasay City.

Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm and support we've received, the NATSA Executive Board have made the decision to extend the event to accommodate even more participants and ensure an unforgettable experience for all. This move was made after careful consideration and consultation with our dedicated Fun Run Management Committee. We also took into account the new schedule of the upcoming Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC) in May 2024, as we strive to support TESDA NCR Competitors and Experts, and the hosting of our esteemed host region.

The new deadline for registration and payment is on March 25, 2024. This gives us an ample time to prepare and spread the word, encouraging more individuals to join us in this meaningful endeavor. We believe that by extending the registration period, conducting additional orientation sessions, and enhancing our marketing efforts, we can surpass our initial goal and welcome a larger number of participants.

It’s also our response to our TESDA Secretary Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Ph.D. on his advocacy and slogan “MaGaling at MakaBagong TVET para sa Bagong Pilipinas” is Pathways to Recovery and Social- Economic Transformation for the Filipinos.

We are happy to announce that NATSA- TESDA TEK BOK RUN is scheduled on February 24, 2024, (Saturday) to be held at Liwasang Ulalim CCP Complex, Pasay City, from 4 AM to 10 AM.

NATSA as the prime organizer is requesting the participation of all TVET Institutions, Training & Assessment Centers to encourage their TESDA Scholars and graduates, as well as their employees, trainers, and assessors. This invitation is also open to all High School and College Students through their respective PE Department Heads and the TESDA Employees and runner enthusiasts are encouraged to join.

The Theme dubbed “TAKBO PARA SA KALUSUGAN AT KASANAYAN SA EDUKASYON TEKNIKAL” aimed to promote physical & health awareness and technology concern for global competitiveness that brings togetherness of TVET Community, friends, and family for the harmonious relationship of the members. TESDA Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Hon. Aniceto "John" D. Bertiz III received the WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 Flag during the Handover Ceremony at the Closing Program of WorldSkills ASEAN 2023 at Singapore Expo Convention Center held last July 27, 2023.

A biennial event where participants compete for various trades in vocational education, WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 would be held in Manila, Philippines.

NATSA, headed by its President Mary Grace Rose Gulan, joined Team Philippines at World Skills ASEAN 2023 Competition in Suntec City, Singapore. Participated by nine ASEAN countries, the competition ran from July 22 to July 27, 2023.

NATSA delegates include NATSA Corporate Secretary, Ms Riza D. Sorima-Matias, NATSA Treasurer, Mr. Pepito B. Trumata, NATSA Auditor, Dr. Glenn Mark J. Blasquez, and NATSA Public Relations Officer and RTESDC President Engr. Gamaliel F. Itao, NATSA Board of Trustees & President Emeritus, Dr. Danilo V. Ayap, and NATSA Executive Director, Mr. Edilberto A. Lim.

Four officers of PAMATEAA ( Pasay-Makati TESD Educators, AC Managers, & Assessors, Inc. ), headed by its President and NATSA President Mary Grace Rose Gulan, joined NATSA in supporting Team Philippines at WorldSkills ASEAN Competition 2023 in Suntec City held last July 22 to July 27, 2023.

PAMATEAA delegation in Singapore includes Executive Vice President Edilberto A. Lim, Corporate Secretary Mary Grace O. Tejada, Public Relations Officer Carmencita Uy.

Participated by nine ASEAN countries, the Philippines bagged a Silver Medal for the Graphic Design Technology, Medallion of Excellence in Restaurant Services, Cooking, and Electrical Installation. A biennial event, WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 would be held in Manila, Philippines.
