Hindi lingid sa kaalaman natin na maraming mga Pilipino ang naaapektuhan sa patuloy na pananalasa ng bagyong Kristine, lalo na sa lalawigan ng Bicol, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, at iba pa.

Bilang isang institusyon na naglilinang ng tunay na pagmamalasakit sa kapwa, kami po ay nagbubukas ng "donation drive" upang makapaghatid ng tulong sa mga nasalanta. Ang inyo pong donasyon ay ating ipararating sa Angat Buhay organization upang mas mapabilis ang paghahatid ng tulong.

While the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal in Metro Manila, including the City of Taguig, has been downgraded to No. 1, the Orange Rainfall warning — which could cause intense rains and heavy flooding — remains hoisted.

Taguig’s local public weather service, TOWER, also forecasts stormy weather in the City tomorrow.

With these potential threats, the CITY OF TAGUIG is suspending CLASSES in ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Schools shall resort to alternative modes of learning in accordance with the policies of the Department of Education.

The suspension will also allow time for recovery and inspection of schools and facilities to ensure safety before resuming classes.

AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION OF CLASSES
October 22, 2024

PAGASA placed the National Capital Region, which includes City of Taguig, under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 due to the potential threats of Tropical Storm Kristine, which may bring rain showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds.

The Storm Signal automatically suspends in-person classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as the Alternative Learning System (ALS) classes in both public and private schools in Taguig. Schools shall resort to alternative modes of learning in accordance with the policies of the Department of Education.
