"Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4
This verse from the book of Psalms encourages individuals to find their joy and contentment in the Lord. When we take delight in Him, seeking to deepen our relationship and align our desires with His will, the verse suggests that God will grant the desires of our hearts.
However, it is important to note that this does not imply that God simply fulfills every worldly desire or whim we may have. Instead, it speaks to the transformation that occurs within us when we place our faith and satisfaction in the Lord. As we draw closer to Him, our desires naturally align more closely with God's plans and purposes for our lives.
Ultimately, delighting in the Lord means finding true joy, peace, and fulfillment in Him rather than in worldly pursuits or material possessions. It involves seeking His wisdom, following His teachings, and allowing Him to shape our desires and guide our paths. In doing so, we can trust that God will provide for our needs and grant us the desires that are in line with His perfect will for us.
"And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off." - Matthew 18:13
The phrase captures a profound truth about God's love and redemption. This concept is beautifully illustrated in the parable of the lost sheep found in the Bible. In this parable, Jesus teaches us about the heart of our heavenly Father, who tirelessly searches for those who are lost and brings them back into the fold.
We can find great comfort and hope in this verse because it shows us that God deeply values every single person. Like a devoted shepherd, He is willing to leave behind the comfort and security of the majority to seek out and rescue the one who has strayed. This reflects the relentless pursuit of God's love for humanity.
We can draw several reflections from this verse. Firstly, it reminds us that no matter how lost or marginalized we may feel, we are never beyond God's reach. He actively pursues us, seeking to restore us to a place of belonging and significance within His kingdom.
Secondly, the verse highlights the unmatched value God places on each individual. In a world that often focuses on the masses, God demonstrates that every person matters to Him. Our worth is not measured by societal standards or numbers but by His immeasurable love that goes to great lengths to find us and bring us back.
Lastly, this verse challenges us to adopt a similar mindset in # # our own lives. It encourages us to be agents of love and compassion, willing to leave our comfort zones to seek and uplift those who feel lost or forgotten. Just as God values the one, we too should be motivated to extend grace and extend a helping hand to those who need it the most.
In summary, it reminds us of God's unwavering love and mercy. It assures us of our worth and significance in His eyes and encourages us to emulate His compassion in seeking out and supporting others. May we hold onto this truth and share it with others so that they too may experience the joy of being found and brought back into the embrace of our loving God.

Finding Hope and Restoration Amidst Disruption
In times of trial and uncertainty, it is natural to feel overwhelmed and discouraged. The recent heavy rains and frequent earthquakes have left our roads split and cracked, causing inconvenience and challenges for transportation. However, within these difficulties, there lies an opportunity for reflection, faith, and hope.
The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." This verse serves as a central message of encouragement and reassurance during these difficult times. It reminds us that God's presence is with us through every storm we face. Just as He promises, the waters will not overwhelm us, and the fires will not consume us.
Though our roads are split and cracked, remember that this situation is not permanent. It serves as a reminder that even the strongest of structures can be shaken. As a community, let us lean on each other for support and lean upon God for strength. Together, we will rebuild and restore what has been damaged, confident that we can overcome this adversity.
I encourage you to hold on to hope and resilience. Remember that trials and tribulations are part of our journey, but they do not define us. Let us use this season of disruption as an opportunity for personal and communal growth. Be a source of encouragement to one another, extending a helping hand or providing words of hope to those who are discouraged.
As we face this period of road splits and cracks, let us remember that our strength lies not solely in our ability to rebuild, but in our ability to rebuild together. Setbacks are simply setups for comebacks. Let us continue to pray, trust, and work hand in hand, confident that God's restoration is imminent.
Do not lose heart, for our Heavenly Father knows your every need. Take solace in His promise in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
May this message bring us comfort, strength, and renewed hope as we face these trials together. The road to restoration may be challenging, but with faith, determination, and unity, we will rebuild and reclaim what was lost.
Dear friends, I humbly request your earnest prayers for the safety and protection of those residing in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental. As the Magdug Bridge succumbs to the devastating forces of flooding, let us unite in intercession. May our supplications form a shield of divine intervention, safeguarding lives and guiding rescuers. Amen.
2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Isaiah 40:31 states: "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." From this verse, we can derive a few lessons:
1. Hope in the Lord: The passage encourages us to place our hope and trust in God. It reminds us that when we trust in Him, our strength is renewed. By relying on God's faithfulness and promises, we can find confidence and assurance in facing life's challenges.
2. Strength through God: The verse portrays God as the source of our strength. When we turn to Him, He empowers us and enables us to overcome difficulties. It emphasizes the importance of relying on God's strength rather than our own.
3. Soaring on wings like eagles: The imagery of soaring on wings like eagles represents the idea of experiencing renewed strength and vitality. It suggests that when we align ourselves with God's plans, we can rise above our circumstances, gaining a fresh perspective and renewed energy to press forward.
4. Perseverance and endurance: The verse acknowledges that life can be challenging and demanding. However, for those who trust in the Lord, it promises the ability to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint. It teaches us that with God's strength, we can endure and overcome the trials and hardships that come our way.
5. Gradual progress: The progression mentioned in the verse—soaring, running, and walking—may signify different seasons and phases in life. It suggests that sometimes we may experience rapid progress, like soaring on wings, while at other times, progress may be slower, like walking steadily. The lesson here is to embrace the journey, recognizing that growth and transformation occur gradually over time.
Overall, Isaiah 40:31 encourages us to maintain our hope in God, rely on His strength, remain steadfast in the face of challenges, and trust in His timing and process for our growth and renewal.
Jeremiah 29:11 is a well-known verse from the Bible that provides a message of hope and encouragement. It says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This verse was originally spoken by the prophet Jeremiah to the Israelites who were in exile in Babylon.
The context of this verse is important to understand its meaning fully. The Israelites had been taken captive by the Babylonians and were living in a foreign land away from their homeland. They were likely going through a period of uncertainty, despair, and fear. In the midst of their circumstances, Jeremiah delivers a message from God, assuring them of His plans for their future.
Through this verse, God reveals His intention to bring prosperity, not harm, to His people. It emphasizes His faithfulness and concern for their well-being. It signifies that even in difficult times, God has a purpose, a plan, and a future for each individual.
While originally addressed to the Israelites, this verse has resonated with countless individuals over the centuries. It offers comfort and reassurance to those facing challenging circumstances, reminding them that God is in control and has good plans in store for them.
However, it's essential to note that the promises in Jeremiah 29:11 are not a guarantee of a trouble-free life. The verse does not imply that believers will be exempt from trials or hardships. In fact, preceding verses in Jeremiah 29 (verses 4-10) talk about the Israelites spending many years in exile before returning to their homeland.
The verse should be understood within the broader context of God's character and His redemptive plan. It encourages trust in God's sovereignty and His ability to bring about a hopeful future. It invites individuals to seek Him, rely on His guidance, and find comfort in His promises.
Ultimately, Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has a purpose for our lives, even when circumstances appear unfavorable. It encourages us to trust in His plans, have hope in His faithfulness, and seek His guidance in our journey.
Fish came out of the port in Samal Island, Davao del Norte. AROUND 8PM this night! It's really amazing!
Because of this incident, I remembered a story in the Bible. Let me share this to you guys. 😊❤️❤️
The narrative begins as Jesus encounters Peter, who was a skilled fisherman, along with his fellow fishermen partners on the Sea of Galilee. After a failed night of fishing, Jesus approaches them and requests to use Peter's boat to teach the crowd gathered on the shore.
As Jesus finishes speaking to the crowd, he turns his attention towards Peter and instructs him to launch into the deep waters and let down his nets for a catch. Initially, Peter expresses doubt, citing the unsuccessful night they had just experienced. However, he ultimately obeys Jesus' command and casts his nets, resulting in a miraculous abundance of fish.
Overwhelmed by this demonstration of power, Peter falls to his knees and acknowledges his unworthiness in the presence of Jesus. In response, Jesus utters a powerful statement: "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men." With these words, Jesus reveals his intentions to transform Peter's vocation and purpose. No longer would Peter's role solely involve catching physical fish; instead, he would become a "fisherman of men," taking part in the heavenly work of gathering souls for God's kingdom.
This encounter between Jesus and Peter highlights several essential lessons. Firstly, it emphasizes the unworthiness and humility of individuals in the presence of Christ's divine power and authority. It also reminds us that despite our doubts and previous failures, Jesus can work miracles in our lives if we trust and follow his commands faithfully.
Moreover, Jesus' invitation to become fishers of men carries a deep spiritual significance. It represents the call to share the good news of Jesus' teachings and salvation with others, actively seeking to bring people into a relationship with God. Just as Peter's obedience led to an abundance of fish, our commitment to being fishers of men can result in a bountiful harvest of souls transformed by God's grace.
In conclusion, this story reminds us of Jesus' power to transform lives and the importance of answering his call to become fishers of men. It challenges us to examine our own lives and consider how we can actively participate in sharing the love and salvation of Jesus with those around us. May we heed Jesus' call and embark on the noble task of being fishers of men, guided by his teachings and empowered by his presence.

The verse says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
This verse emphasizes the importance of finding stillness and tranquility in order to connect with God. It encourages believers to pause, reflect, and enter into a state of meditation and prayer. Here's a closer look at the key aspects:
1. BE STILL: This phrase encourages us to quiet our minds, emotions, and physical busyness. It reminds us to set aside distractions and find a place of solitude where we can focus our attention on God. Being still doesn't mean just being physically motionless, but also involves calming our thoughts, worries, and anxieties.
2. KNOW THAT I AM GOD: This phrase affirms God's sovereignty and reminds us of His divine nature. It calls us to acknowledge and recognize His authority, power, and presence in our lives. Through prayer and meditation, we can develop a deeper understanding and intimacy with God, knowing Him not only intellectually but also experientially.
3. I WILL BE EXALTED: This part of the verse indicates that as we connect with God through prayer and meditation, we align ourselves with His purposes and plans. It reminds us that God desires to be glorified and exalted, not only in our individual lives but also in the world as a whole. Through prayer, we surrender our wills, aligning them with God's, and offer our lives as instruments for His exaltation.
The verse as a whole teaches us that prayer and meditation are vital practices in our relationship with God. They provide us with the opportunity to still our hearts, seek God's presence, and align ourselves with His will. By quieting our minds, focusing on His divine nature, and recognizing His authority, we can experience His presence, guidance, and transforming power more intimately.
In summary, Psalm 46:10 encourages us to incorporate prayer and meditation into our lives, emphasizing the need to be still, know God, and offer ourselves for His exaltation. Through these practices, we deepen our connection with God and open ourselves to His divine truths, peace, and guidance.
Landslide in Diwalwal, Monkayo, Davao de Oro
In times of tragedy and loss, it is natural to question why such events occur and to seek solace and understanding. The recent tragedy in Mt. Diwalwal, Monkayo, Davao de Oro resulting in the loss of many lives due to a landslide, weighs heavily on our hearts. While we may not fully comprehend the reasons behind such calamities, we can find comfort, reassurance, and guidance through our faith in Jesus Christ.
In the midst of despair, let us turn to the Bible for a message of hope and God's unfailing love. Psalms 34:18 reminds us that "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Even in our sorrow, we can take solace in knowing that God is with us, offering His presence, comfort, and strength.
In times of tragedy, it is important to extend compassion, support, and love to those affected. Galatians 6:2 encourages us to "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." As followers of Christ, we are called to lend a helping hand, whether it be through prayers, donations, or physical assistance, to provide support to those impacted by the Mt. Diwalwal tragedy.
Additionally, we can find hope in Romans 8:28, which says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Although we grieve the loss of lives and the devastation caused, we trust that God can bring good out of even the most tragic situations.
Lastly, let us remember that life is fleeting, and our time on earth is temporary. James 4:14 reminds us that "What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." This serves as a reminder to cherish every moment, to prioritize our relationship with God, and to live a life filled with love, compassion, and faith.
As we process the tragic events in Mt. Diwalwal, let us honor the memory of those who have passed away by reflecting on their lives and by extending our love and support to their families and communities. May their lives serve as a reminder of the preciousness of life and the importance of unity, compassion, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity.
