یہ دن خون کا عطیہ کرنے والوں کی حوصلہ افزائی اور انکا شکریہ ادا کرنے کیلئے دنیا میں منایا جاتا ھے ۔ جو بغیر کسی لالچ کے دوسروں کی زندگی بچاتے ھیں ساتھ عام آدمی کو خون دینے کی آگاھی ، شعور اور دل سے ڈر دور کرنا بھی ھوتا ھے ۔ ھر سال یہ دن نوبل انعام یافتہ سائنسدان کارل لینڈ سیٹر کی پیدائش 14 جون 1868 کی مناسبت سے منایا جاتا ھے جنہوں نے A B O بلڈ گرپنگ سسٹم دریافت کیا ۔ خون کی ضرورت کسی کو بھی ھو سکتی ھے تاھم تھیلیسیمیا اور ھیموفلیلیا کے شکار بچوں کیلئے سانس اور خون ایک برابر ھیں

"Khan Foundation Cabinet Members Convene for Strategic Planning Session!
Today, our dynamic cabinet members gathered at the society's headquarters for a productive meeting, fueled by determination and passion. The agenda focused on upcoming visits to various colleges, aimed at inspiring and empowering students.
The meeting was chaired by Sir Umer Iqbal and vice president Imad Khan in the presence of following cabinet members of abbottabad college of nursing.
