Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal, Auditor General of Pakistan visited Government Accountability Office (GAO), United States of America (USA) and held discussion with Mr. Gene L. Dodaro, Comptroller General of the US and Head of GAO to have enhanced cooperation between Supreme Audit Institutions of the two countries.

Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal, Auditor General of Pakistan, inaugurated 'SMART INTERACTIVE VIDEO CONFERENCING' facility in Pakistan Audit & Accounts Academy, Lahore and its four Regional Academies to improve and bring training environment at par with international standards.

Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal, Auditor General of Pakistan addressed the opening session of workshop on “Audit planning and Management “ conducted by USAID for SAI Zambia on 30th August, 2022. He focused on mutual cooperation among Supreme Audit Institutions for capacity building and professional development. ECOSAI 9th Assembly, 26th Governing Board Meeting and Training Committee Meeting (TCM) held on 25-26th August, 2022 in Nur-Sultan Kazakhstan. Heads of SAIs and delegates from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Iran, Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Qatar, Palestine, Belarus and Pakistan participated in the 9th ECOSAI Assembly.
Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal, Auditor General of Pakistan/ Secretary General of ECOSAI presented report of the activities of ECOSAI. On the sidelines of these meetings, Auditor General of Pakistan held bilateral meetings with heads of SAIs of Turkey, Iran, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

USAID Pakistan's new Mission Director, Mr. Reed Aeschliman, led a four-member delegation while on a 'meet & greet' visit to the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) Pakistan. Matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting with Auditor General of Pakistan.

Probationary Officers of Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service from 49th Specialised Trg Programme called on the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan during their country study tour. Auditor General of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal, Addl AG-1, Rector Academy and other senior officers also attended the event.
