Summary of Today's Press Conference of Pakistan Medical Commission
◾Mcat will be held online on computer on specific centers in 20 cities
◾It will be conducted between 30 Aug- 30 September (student can choose any date according to his/her comfort)
◾ Registration will be online and open from Tomorrow (5th June) and close on 15 July. Student can choose 3 optional dates. Final date will be allocated upon availability
◾ If any student is not feeling well, he can apply for reschedule (even a day before), and can have it after 15 days (So do not choose your date at end of September)
◾A free practice online Test will be held
◾ Syllabus has been uploaded on website (It consists of All boards). Paper will be consisting MCQs of Eng, Bio, Chem, Phy and Logical Reasoning
◾ For govt college, Weightage of MCAT will be at least 50% while making aggregate. Rest of Weightage will be decided by province. Province can make this Weightage more than 50%, can include Olevel, can reduce Alevel Weightage, all will be decided by province. PMC nai srf ATLEAST 50% ka criteria rkha hai.
◾ Private uni admission will be open from 30 June. They can take their own test and they will decide their own criteria for making aggregate.
◾ Non-affording students wishing to get admission in private colleges can apply for National Scholarship program
◾ Passing marks for MCAT: 65%
◾ Minimum eligibility for taking admission is 65% in Fsc or 65% in Alevel equivalency

Postponed tests of NET-2021 (Series-3) at NUST Islamabad Campus will commence from June 16, 2021.

Candidates are requested to select the test schedule latest by 19 June 2021, otherwise, they will be transferred to Series-4 to be conducted from July 14, 2021, onwards.

Please note that the candidates appearing in Series-3 will have the option to register in Series-4 as well, to improve their score.

Paper-based tests at Karachi and Quetta for Series-3 & 4 will be conducted once in July or August 2021, for which the schedule will be announced later.

Keeping in view the recent announcement made by the Federal Education Minister during the press conference held on April 27, 2021, the conduct of NUST Entry Test (NET-3) for the admissions of Fall 2021 has been postponed till further instructions from NCOC/HEC. However, online registration will continue to remain open till June 10, 2021.

A new schedule will be announced later, tentatively after June 15, 2021. Candidates will be informed through email, SMS, NUST web portal and official social media platforms.

- It's now confirmed that chemistry P2 and biology p6 for o level will not be held as they were not rescheduled.

The Pakistan studies P2 paper has been scheduled on 25 May 2021 instead of 20th may as before.

- A full refund will be given for covid related reasons if a candidate misses all components
- venue letters are coming next week
- the exempted component will be marked from the paper given and an assessed grade would be awarded on that basis.

Pakistan Army invites applications for induction in its engineering corps as commissioned officers. FSc pre-engineering and ICS students can apply for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet course.
Regular Commission will be offered to the selected candidates and candidates will be able to join Pak Army as an engineer and officer on successful completion of their degree. Online registration shall start from February 22, 2021. The last date to submit the application for the Pak Army 33rd Technical Cadet course is March 23, 2021.

Candidates possessing qualifications such as 'O' level and 'A' level etc will be required to obtain Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from (IBCC) and attach it with application form along with 'A' level passed in Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies I Computer Sciences essentially in Grade A-C.

Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I Examination with minimum 65% marks and appeared I are appearing in FSc Part-II / Final Examination can also apply on ""HOPE Certificates"" duly issued by Head of the institution.

Candidates who have passed FSc in Computer Sciences can apply for Computer Software Engineering only.
