A confusion needs to be cleared. The seats of the Self-Supporting programs will also be offered on competitive basis, and the aggregate merit will be calculated in the same manner as in the regular programs.

Note that the self-support programs will be offered in the afternoons. The self-support program will offer 300 additional seats, with separate applications to cater for students preferences. It is good news for those who are better at studies during the afternoons, and another 300 students will get the chance to study at GCU.

For security concerns, all classes tomorrow (Wed, March 15) will shift to online mode at GCU. All exams due to take place tomorrow will be delayed for one day only, and exams will take place on-campus. No GCU transport will run tomorrow. Interviews for extra-curricular medals will shift to Thursday 16 March, at 10am.

Alhamdulillah, two differently-abled female students won the football match from Islamabad and athletics in Karachi. They have secured medals and also other gifts.

Spring blind sports activity
"A friendly match between GCU Lahore blind cricket team VS Sheikhupura Club on 30th march 2022."

GCU blood cricket team remained victorious.

GCU blind cricket team played against the cricket team of the government sunrise institute for the blind on 28 March 2022.
There was a series of two matches and remained tie from both sides, 1-1.

Badar Muneer student of GCU Lahore national player Pakistan Blind Cricket team recently played a Tri-Nation Blind cricket series held in UAE Dubai and by the grace of Allah Pakistan team won all the matches including the final that was between India and Pakistan
Badar Muneer remained the Player of the final match with an outstanding performance of 63 in exchange for 25 balls.

AL-HAMDOLLILAH two-Days Teachers' Training Workshop on Inclusive Education & Implementation of the HEC Policy for Students with Disabilities has been conducted by Centre for Special Students (CSS) and its Accessibility Committee for Differently-abled Students concluded well today.

A brief, participative and a healthy discussion held among the Guests of Honors (Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed and Dr. Affaf Manzoor) and Disability Coordinators for Differently-abled Students. We are confident that the trainees have left today with sufficient knowledge to tackle the problems of differently-abled students at their respective departments. The CSS and its Accessibility Committee will always be available for their assistance to the departments in the future.
