Convocation 2023

I’m delighted to share the schedule to hold the 22nd Convocation of the Government College University Lahore. We shall confer the PhD, M.Phil, MS, and BS degrees in the three separate sessions from the 28th to 30th of September, 2023. The full dress rehearsal of the inaugural session shall be held on the 27th September.

All the prospective graduates are expected to prepare themselves for the occasion. Some highly respected dignitaries are scheduled to grace the occasion and make your graduation memorable. We shall also confer Lifetime Achievement Awards on some of the outstanding alumni who made invaluable contributions in their respective fields of interest.

The nominees for the Co-curricular Medals shall be interviewed by a panel of distinguished academics led by me on the 23rd and 24th September. The students are also advised to seek clearance from the relevant quarters to be able to receive their degrees at the forthcoming Convocation without any inconvenience.

Water Crisis is one of the examples of how environmental issues affect genders differently. This is one of the most pressing issue seeking international attention and was the reason for us to initiate first of its type degree in Pakistan, BS Gender and Climate Change.
