Observance of "the International "Day of Persons with Disability" organized by ICRC at University of Peshawar.
This was a huge platform for PWDs to highlight their challenges and barriers they are facing in inclusive education and other walks of life.
The stall of Paraplegic Center, Peshawar ( the unique and comprehensive physical rehabilitation service provider) remained very busy among the local and international participants. The students of CPMR also actively represented the quality education of the college and its future vision towards strengthening comprehensive physical rehabilitation in the country.

Chief Executive, Paraplegic Center, Peshawar, Dr Syed Mohammad Ilyas, is going to deliver a keynote speech in the plenary session of the 4th International Conference on Rehabilitation Sciences (ICRS) and 1st International Conference on Allied Health Sciences (ICAHS), on Saturday at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, arranged by the Riphah International University, Islamabad.

The topic is “Pioneering Cost Effective Comprehensive Physical Rehabilitation in Pakistan”.

Visit of Khyber Girls Medical College to Paraplegic Center Peshawar. Although it is their regular clinical visit to complete their community medicines assignments but we use this opportunity to make the future doctors aware of comprehensive physical rehabilitation and how to handle PWDs in their future clinical endeavours.

Finally, we got the Cast TOT certificates along with exploring the cultural norms of Manilla (Philippine). It was a real practical hands-on training with fun and enjoyment. It's a great honor for us and P*P that we became the first CAST TOT trainers in Pakistan. We will try to transfer the knowledge to MF & P*P Clubfoot partner clinics.
