🏊‍♀️ Bronte Campbell struck gold again in the Women’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay.

🚣‍♀️ Jessica Morrison, added a bronze to her collection in the Women’s Pair.

🚣 Olympia Aldersey powered through to 9th place in the Women’s Four.

🏓 Melissa Tapper competed in both the teams and individual events, and she is now gearing up for her next competition, starting with mixed doubles on 29 August and singles on 2 September.

“When I was in high school and university, I did not know what kind of career I wanted to pursue, and unfortunately, there wasn’t much guidance available. My motivation
for becoming a mentor was to share my non-traditional pathway of building a tech career and be an available go-to person for university students should they need.

It has been a genuinely rewarding experience being a mentor. My mentees continued to be engaged and committed at each of our catchups, asking questions, sharing their ideas, and working together to build their professional toolkit so they can pursue their tech careers.

A learning I will take away is that my role as a mentor is to not give away solutions. My role is to guide, support and advise my mentees by asking thought-provoking questions and providing them the tools they
need to find solutions on their own. This approach has allowed my mentees to build their confidence to pursue their post-university goals.”

We’ve had an amazing time hosting our annual Future Thinking Women events across our different offices. We’ve been able to share more insight into our gender networks, hear inspiring stories and ask challenging questions, all while collaborating and networking with like-minded future leaders.
