We are thrilled to announce that our very own CEO, Steve Holdener from RheinGold Family Office, was invited as a distinguished panel expert during the ZHAW Asia Study Trip to Singapore （organised by ZHAW School of Management and Law, University of Zurich).

The event, organized by Symon Tilberis, featured a captivating panel discussion on Asia's thriving business opportunities in the finance and start-up sectors. Steve Holdener, alongside other esteemed panelists Grace Sai and Florin Boetschi, shared invaluable insights drawn from their international careers and intercultural experiences.

With generosity and expertise, Steve Holdener offered valuable advice on excelling in a job, identifying and seizing opportunities, and fostering international networks and communities.

The impact of this discussion was profound, leaving a lasting impression on the students who attended. The advice provided by the panelists will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light as they navigate their career paths, even at crucial milestones in their planning.

A Night of Art at the Contemporary by Angela Li

Last night, we were lucky enough to attend a private viewing at the Contemporary by Angela Li. The event was hosted by RheinGold Philanthropy x JupYeah who invited the donors who supported the fund raising back in March this year. The gallery currently is featuring the work of four amazing artists: Angela Yuen, Wong Sze Wai and Wu Didi.

We were blown away by the beauty of the artwork on display. Each artist had their own unique style, but they all shared a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around them.

We loved Wong Sze Wai's paintings, which were inspired by the relationship between memory and consciousness, using the concept of palimpsest to explore the loss of memories through a process of inscription and erasure; her unique painting style draws inspiration from ancient Chinese murals in Dunhuang Cave and medieval murals from Eastern Europe, ultimately portraying the entwined nature of memory, history, and the allure of ruins as metaphors for concealed recollections.

One of the artists who caught our eye was Angela Yuen. Yuen is a Hong Kong-based artist who creates sculptures and installations that explore the theme of urban culture. Her work often uses found objects and materials to create new forms that reflect the ever-changing nature of the city and gaining international exposure.

After the viewing, we enjoyed a private champagne reception with the artists. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about their work and to share our thoughts with them. We also had a chance to meet some of the other guests, who were all passionate about art.

March 2023 marked a pivotal moment for RheinGold Philanthropy as they orchestrated a groundbreaking charity fundraising event in collaboration with JupYeah. The response from donors was nothing short of extraordinary, reflecting the collective commitment to making a positive difference. This event not only brought people together for a worthy cause but also set the stage for a series of transformative initiatives that would follow.

On June 5th, World Environment Day, JupYeah continued their noble mission. They actively participated in the "Low Carbon Living" public welfare experience activity, an initiative initiated by the Hong Kong Environment and Ecology Bureau. JupYeah's clothing exchange event attracted individuals in need, offering them an opportunity to obtain pre-loved garments and contribute to a sustainable future.

RheinGold Philanthropy's partnership with JupYeah is not just about a one-time event, it signifies a long-term commitment to driving positive change. What sets RheinGold Philanthropy apart is their hands-on approach to making a difference. Members of RheinGold Philanthropy had the privilege of personally participating in JupYeah's event as dedicated volunteers. Through this immersive experience, they gained a profound understanding of the importance of embracing a low-carbon lifestyle and reducing clothing waste. Witnessing the unwavering commitment of JupYeah to promoting second-hand clothing exchanges for over a decade deeply moved the RheinGold Philanthropy members. They were inspired by JupYeah's dedication to supporting grassroots communities and saw firsthand the transformative power of sustainable fashion.
