With the mission of providing the next generation a better financial future, Little Wallet wants to inspire entrepreneurship among young people and create opportunities for them to showcase their business talent. Therefore, The Young Entrepreneurship Competition (YEC) is officially kicking off its first season, promising many difficult yet fun challenges.
Exclusively for Vietnamese high school students, The Young Entrepreneurs is a nationwide competition simulating the process of developing a business idea in English. With an international jury of experts, contestants will hone the necessary skills to becom entrepreneurs of the future.
With up to 200 million VND in prizes, high-value university scholarships, and valuable certificates, YEC 2023 is an ideal platform for you to experience the startup environment and develop yourself. Moreover, it is also a place to interact with successful entrepreneurs and learn valuable experience from their startup journey.
Format of each Stage:
🚀 Stage 1: Includes 2 online parts from August 8 to September 30.
Part 1: Contestants register to compete individually or in teams of 2-3 at: https://www.yec23.littlewallet.co/. After registering, download the Little Wallet app to complete the required lesson.
Part 2: Upon completing the lesson, the organizing committee will send a confirmation email for submitting competition ideas as guided. The most outstanding feasible ideas will be announced to pass the first round on October 6 and will continue to the second round.
🚀 Stage 2: Interviews from October 12-14
The top idea submissions will be interviewed by leading experts. This is a chance for contestants to showcase their potential and receive direct feedback from professionals to polish their ideas.
After passing the interview Stage, the TOP 20 best teams will be announced on October 16 and will prepare to continue to the third round.
🚀 Stage 3: Bootcamp and Pitching ideas in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi
TOP 20 participate in a Bootcamp and Pitch their ideas to convince the judges to become the Winners of the first YEC season.
The Bootcamp and Pitch Day for the Southern teams will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21 and 22 at the Canadian International School.
The Bootcamp and Pitch Day for the Northern teams will be held in Hanoi on October 28 and 29 at the VinUniversity Entrepreneurship Lab.
With total prizes up to 200 million VND and valuable scholarship opportunities, YEC 2023 promises to be the ideal launch pad for you to showcase your identity through innovative business ideas. Moreover, this is a place to network with successful entrepreneurs and gain precious lessons from their startup journeys.
