How do we allow the Gospel to fill our lives and actions?
Join us at CANA on 30 November morning for a guided and facilitated discussion of personal and social issues using the See-Judge-Act method. Used by the Holy Father and many Catholic organisations, the method helps us to apply our faith as a family or community to our situations and also the wider society. Every participant will contribute to enrich the discussions!

04 November 2024, Monday, 31st Week in Ordinary Time BUILDING UNITY IN CHRIST The world is very much divided between the rich and the poor, the powerful and the weak, the elite and the ordinary. Today, on All Souls Day, the Church invites us to pray and remember all the faithful departed, especially the Holy Souls in Purgatory who long for our prayers. As they journey toward Heaven, these souls rely on our love and intercession. Through our prayers, indulgences, penance, and acts of charity, we can offer them comfort and help bring them closer to their eternal union with God.
As the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1032) reminds us: “Let us help and commemorate them. If Job’s sons were purified by their father’s sacrifice, why would we doubt that our offerings for the dead bring them some consolation? Let us not hesitate to help those who have died and to offer our prayers for them.”
