What does it truly mean to be fit?

Physical appearance can be misleading when it comes to assessing someoneโ€™s overall fitness level. While having a toned physique may suggest a certain level of physical fitness, it doesnโ€™t necessarily translate to functional fitness.

The ability to move well, encompassing factors like agility, endurance, mobility, balance, and coordination, is the true essence of fitness.

One can have a sculpted body from specific exercises but lack the functional fitness required for everyday tasks or sports activities. Conversely, individuals who may not have a visibly toned physique can still possess excellent functional fitness if they engage in activities promoting overall movement capability.

Therefore, itโ€™s essential to recognize that true fitness goes beyond looks and focuses on the ability to move effectively and safely in various physical scenarios.

Donโ€™t just look fit, BE FIT.
