What should you do if you discover errors in a past Goods & Services Tax (GST) return?

Generally, the error should be corrected by filing a corrective GST return. As an administrative concession granted by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), a business can amend the errors in the next GST return if the error amounts fall below certain thresholds. Recently, there has been an adjustment to the specified thresholds, potentially altering how errors should be corrected.

Our most recent team bonding event was a great success! We had a fantastic time at K Bowling Club playing a variety of games such as bowling, darts, pool, and indulging in a delightful buffet. Kudos to the teams that had won the top 3 prizes for bowling! We are already looking forward to the next event!

Happy Mid-Autumn’s Festival! We prepared mooncakes and refreshments for our colleagues to share in celebration of this joyous occasion. Not to mention the crowd’s favorite - Durian snow skin mooncakes!

This year, we ordered traditional mooncakes from Yellow Ribbon Bakery, a Halal certified artisanal bakery product manufacturer located in Changi Prison. Yellow Ribbon Bakery not only offers inmates the opportunity to learn baking skills, but also provides them with on-the-job training, which enhances their employability in the food industry.

What makes our celebration special is that with every box of mooncakes ordered, $5 will be donated to the Yellow Ribbon Fund. This contribution goes directly towards supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration efforts of inmates, extending a helping hand to those who aspire to turn their lives around.

On the last Thursday of September each year, we gather to celebrate this day and recognise the invaluable contributions of auditors and the importance of their role throughout the year.

Our visit to St Luke's Hospital - Singapore last Thursday was a heartwarming experience filled with joy and meaningful connections. We selected batik painting as part of the afternoon's activity, which helped patients in exercising and training their fine motor skills. As we spent time getting to know them, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the hidden talents of some patients whose artworks were exceptionally well-crafted!

Through this simple act of volunteering, we realised the power of human connection and the significance of bringing joy and positivity into the lives of others. This experience left us with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude, motivating us to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

We wish to also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the team at St Luke's Hospital - Singapore for welcoming us and making this initiative a great success!
