This is the Singapore Indian Orchestra and Choir (SIOC) — Singapore’s only Indian orchestra group with close to 40 years of melodic legacy!

Our multiculturalism is uniquely . Temasek Foundation is proud to celebrate this special multicultural music scene and embrace our diversity of cultures through the different music groups we support.

This Racial Harmony Day, SIOC musicians and multicultural musical talents performed "Singapura" in four languages, using ethnic instruments such as the Veena, Accordion, Guzheng, and Violin. Swing over to our TikTok channel (https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSYWYqgUC/) to watch the full performance! 🎶🎵🇸🇬

Fashion. Sustainability. Special. Chic! 💃

Temasek Foundation joined forces with Le Eco Chic, a youth-led group dedicated to reducing the fashion industry's negative impact and promoting inclusivity.

The fashion show spotlighted the stunning "Vietnamese Batik Floral Touch" collection by Vun Art, a Vietnamese social enterprise. These sustainable pieces were modeled by young persons with disabilities trained by Singapore Fashion Runway.

The result? A confident strut in front of a live audience! ✨

The purr-fect cat-titude to support pet cat sterilisation efforts!

In one of the largest Spay Days conducted in Singapore, close to 100 pet cats were sterilised and micro-chipped this month through the Pet Cat Sterilisation Support programme in partnership with Temasek Foundation.

Offered by the Animal & Veterinary Service, a cluster of NParks, for free to low-income families, pet sterilisation can prevent unintended breeding and helps to address animal welfare issues upstream.

Thank you to all community partners – Cat Welfare Society, Singapore Veterinary Association and Temasek Polytechnic – for creating a paw-sitive impact with us! More Spay Day activities will be rolled out later this year to benefit more families who qualify.

Ever thought of building your own robot car? 🚗

Driven by his passion for robotics, NUS High School of Mathematics & Science student Huang Qizhe built the 'LEGGO with Grandkids' ground-up project, in partnership with Temasek Foundation OSCAR Fund.

Both seniors and young children attended 10 sessions at NTUC Health's Active Ageing Centre in Bukit Batok West and had hands-on experience to 'piece' their projects together through coding and robotics.

A wheely fun way to 'build' bonds across generations!

Congratulations to Rebee Health whose AI-Assisted TelerehabiLitAtion System (ATLAS) programme will soon be piloted by community hospitals for their patients.

Co-developed with SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) with feedback from patients and caregivers, ATLAS allows physical therapy to be remotely guided and monitored.

Temasek Foundation is happy to have catalysed the development of this solution, comprising a wearable sensor, patient application and a dashboard for the physiotherapy team.

This makes post-discharge recovery more seamless, convenient and affordable – without facing potential delays from appointments with therapists, travelling costs and other barriers.
