1.3kg whole chicken cut 4
100gm cooking oil
10gm salam leaves/ local bay leaves
10gm kaffir lime leaves/ daun limau purut
200gm coconut milk
400 gm chicken stock (1 tbsp Mamee Chef chicken stock + 400 gm water)
100gm gula Melaka or Jawa
Spice Mix
100gm red onion
30gm garlic
50gm ginger
50gm galangal
30gm candlenut
200gm red chili
100gm red chili padi/Cabe rawit merah
50gm shrimp paste/terasi
Blend all the above ingredients (spice mix) into paste…

PULUT KUNING merupakan sejenis hidangan makanan yang diperbuat daripada beras pulut dan diwarnakan dengan warna KUNING (Yellow). Pada penulis blog faham dimana makanan seperti Pulut kuning adalah merupakan sejenis sajian istimewa bagi orang-orang Melayu di Malaysia. Bagaimana pun uniknya memang makanan ini sangat pop**ar sebenarnya di nusantara seperti di Indonesia dan beberapa negara lain juga. Ia juga merupakan pulut yang dimasak dengan sedikit serbuk kunyit sebagai pewarna kuning yang menarik. Biasanya ia dimakan dengan gulai seperti rendang ayam atau rendang daging pada majlis keramaian antaranya seperti semasa hari perkahwinan, kenduri kesyukuran dan lain-lain hari yang istimewa. Dari segi sejarah p**a dipercayai dimana pada suatu masa dahulu hidangan ini merupakan kemestian bagi upacara menyembah ancak dimana ia juga akan dihidangkan bersama ayam panggang atau ayam golek dan telur ayam rebus akan tetapi kini selaras dengan ajaran Islam ianya jarang atau pun sudah tidak dilakukan lagi. Lazimnya pada hari ini hidangan pulut kuning boleh didapati sebagai sajian sarapan pagi dan selalu dimakan dengan rendang ayam atau rendang daging di jual di kantin, di pasar malam atau ditempah khas untuk majlis mesyuarat atau majlis rasmi di pejabat.
