I provide psychological assessments and psychotherapy in Singapore to locals and expats.

I typically provide face to face short term therapy sessions to adults who are suffering from depression, anxiety or stress. Therapy sessions would typically be between 6-12 sessions weekly depending on the individual. The first assessment session would be 1 hour 30 minutes and subsequent treatment sessions 1 hour. I specialise in using Cognitive Behavioural Interventions to help clients manage their problems in order to continue with/return to their daily life.

Cognitive Behavioural intervention is an evidenced based intervention and has been widely researched to have a high recovery rates. It focuses on the present and challenges unhelpful thoughts and/or behaviours by using skills and tools you will learn in the sessions to help you manage the problems that are disrupting your daily life.

In addition, I also offer online therapy sessions over Skype or Telephone which are suitable for those who have a busy schedule and unable to travel to attend appointments. However for those interested in telephone appointments, I highly suggest we have a face to face (In person or over Skype) assessment session before starting telephone treatment sessions as this will help us have a more in-depth understanding of your problem and also allows us to build the initial practitioner-client therapeutic relationship.

I provide support to clients with common mental health problems listed below:

Low moods
Depression
Anxiety
Depression/Anxiety as a result of Chronic illnesses/Long term conditions
Post-natal Depression
Panic
Stress
Lack of Assertiveness
Lack of motivation
Low self-esteem
