π»π In the Asia-Pacific region, we've surpassed the 0.9 mark, showcasing significant strides in internet inclusion. Kudos to the Arab States for leading the charge, improving their score from 0.79 to 0.87.
Yet, challenges persist, particularly in Africa, where gender parity lags.

The global Sustainability Survey, conducted by the FTTH Council Global Alliance ( ) has examined environmental, social, and governance ( ) and corporate social responsibility ( ) strategies amongst network operators, service providers, and vendors across five geographical regions, Europe, Latin America (LATAM), North America and Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia Pacific.

Sustainability ranks among the top ten initiatives across multiple businesses as they strive to become more efficient, environmentally friendly, and invest in employees for improved retention. With the Information and Communications Technology sector being responsible for 3-4% of all global emissions, the Fiber-to-the-Home Council Global Alliance (FCGA) conducted a survey of the industry to understand the commitment of service providers and vendors to sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance ( ) or Corporate Social Responsibility ( ) strategies, where they are in terms of reaching their overall goals and milestones, and how these differ at the regional level.
The outcome illustrated interesting regional and cultural differences and highlighted regions that appear further behind.
