We had such a blast celebrating Racial Harmony Day at school! Our little ones learned about different cultures, shared yummy treats, played games like Five Stones, Pick-up Sticks, Zero Point and made some colourful craft projects. We even had our amazing parent volunteers who spent a wonderful morning sharing in the fun.
It's never too early to teach the importance of respecting others, no matter their background. Here's to raising a generation that embraces Singapore's amazing diversity!

Our little farmers in PG had a fantastic time learning about where milk comes from! The teachers set up a milking station and the toddlers got to practice their squeezing skills with water-filled gloves. It was a great way to develop their fine motor skills and learn about farm life! Very importantly, they discovered the magic of how milk goes from cow to cup.

Our little ones in PG had a blast with the Muddy Farm Animal sensory play during the recent farm theme. Here's what they were learning while they squished and splashed:
Sensory Play: Exploring different textures like the smooth plastic animals and the squishy mud.
Animal Names & Noises: We talked about each animal as they got muddy, mooing for the cow, oinking for the pig, and neighing for the horse!
Clean vs Dirty: After all that mud, it was bath time for the animals! We used sponges and water to wash them clean, learning about the difference between clean and dirty.
Motor Skills: Scooping, pouring, and scrubbing the animals helped develop motor skills.
Language Skills: All that animal talk helped build new vocabulary and communication skills!
What an absolutely fun way to learn about farm animals!

Our little mathematicians are having a blast with the Seguin Board! This amazing tool helps them understand numbers, quantities, and even early addition and subtraction! 🔢
By exploring the Seguin Board, our preschoolers develop:
Number sense: Recognizing and understanding numbers
Problem-solving skills: Figuring out where each number goes
Fine motor skills: Practicing those tiny fingers!
It is so good to see our kids having so much fun while learning such important concepts!

Did you know that developing a strong pincer grip is super important for your little one? It helps with everything from holding a pencil to buttoning up their clothes!
At United World Preschool, we focus on building those tiny muscles through fun activities like picking up small objects, using tongs, and playing with puzzles. A strong pincer grip is the first step to writing, drawing, and exploring their world with confidence!
The K2’s focus in Term 2 has been on ‘observation skills’ by recording and making comparisons about their immediate environment and the world at large.
What a great opportunity to extend this part of their inquiry by describing the items on display at the Peranakan Museum. The K2s recorded their observations on paper through drawings and labelling, showcasing the uniqueness of their interpretation of the Peranakan culture!
Our little ones recently went on an adventure to the Peranakan Museum, where they were absolutely mesmerized by the vibrant colours, intricate beadwork, and fascinating artifacts. The museum offers a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn about Singapore's history and culture in a way that's both engaging and interactive. 🇸🇬

Happy Father's Day from our amazing little ones!
The smiles say it all! Our Little ones had a blast celebrating Father's Day with a fun "Daddy Makeover" activity. They got creative practicing their fine motor skills in the process.
The celebration didn't stop there! Balloons filled the air as they danced and sang their hearts out to Father's Day tunes. The joy was truly contagious. :)
We hope all the dads out there had a wonderful day filled with love and laughter!

K1 Otters mastering addition with ten frames! 🧮✨ Learning math has never been this fun!
During their recent outing to Gardens by the Bay, our K1 Turtles were captivated by the water lilies. Back in class, the Teacher introduced them to Claude Monet and his paintings, which inspired them to paint their own water lilies masterpieces!

Our N2 Hummingbirds had a fantastic time using clay to trace the letters in their names! What a fun way to learn spellings!
🐬 This term K2 Dolphins explored the beauty of Traditional Batik work during their art lesson in which instead of traditional methods, we used washable glue, making the process safe and fun for our budding artists.
From sketching unique patterns to adding vibrant fabric paint, each step was filled with excitement and creativity. Under the guidance of their teacher, the Dolphins transformed simple lines and floral motifs into stunning batik-inspired masterpieces.

Bonjour! Ciao! Yassou! 👋 Our K2 students have been on an artistic journey across Europe this term, and their drawings are a testament to their amazing discoveries!
From the iconic Big Ben in the heart of London to Eiffel Tower in Paris, our budding artists have brought these landmarks to life with their colourful interpretations using pencils. But they didn't stop there - they also ventured into the ancient wonders of Greece with the majestic Pantheon, marveled at the leaning beauty of the Tower of Pisa, and experienced the grandeur of the Colosseum in Italy.
Each stroke of their pencils tells a story of exploration and cultural immersion. We're incredibly proud of their creativity and curiosity as they continue to broaden their horizons and learn about the world around them! 🌍✏️
