From mid-April to late May, the foot of Mount Fuji becomes a vibrant canvas of pink, purple, and white as over 500,000 shiba-zakura (moss phlox) burst into bloom at the Fuji Shibazakura Festival. It's a breathtaking sight at the Fuji Motosuko Resort near Lake Motosu.
Capture stunning photos of the colorful flowers with the snow-tipped Mount Fuji in the background. You can even get a "double Mount Fuji" shot thanks to a unique arrangement of shiba-zakura that resembles Japan's iconic mountain.
