📢 Introducing the ERAS Sim Wong Kooi Memorial Research Prize!
In honor of the late Professor Sim Wong Kooi, founding President of the Educational Research Association of Singapore (ERAS), we are thrilled to announce a new research prize dedicated to his legacy of excellence in education.
This cash prize aims to support students in presenting educational research at international conferences, aligning with Prof Sim’s emphasis on research and evidence-based teaching.
📝 Award Eligibility:
• Full/Part-time students at Singapore’s autonomous universities and IHLs
• Must be an ERAS member
• Papers related to educational research
• First or sole author of abstract/paper accepted and presented at a conference (excluding ERAS conferences) within the stipulated period
• Have not received other prizes for the same paper
📅 Key Dates:
• 1 June – 15 August 2024: Call for Applications
• 31 August 2024: Results Announcement
• 6 September 2024: Award Presentation

The Educational Research Association of Singapore (ERAS) is organising a workshop on Survey Development and Validation on 1 and 2 December (Wed and Thurs) 2021 from 9am to 4pm.
The workshop will provide the knowledge and understanding for educators to adapt or develop appropriate measures for their practice. The first day of the workshop will cover introductory aspects of instrument creation. The second day of the workshop presents statistical methods to examine the psychometric properties of the instrument.
