A red-letter day for BFG Golf with Suritpreeya Pruksanubal clinching top honours as the overall Girls champion at the Singapore Junior Golf Championship this week. Keeping our eyes peeled on what’s coming up for our juniors in our SGA-BFG Junior Golf Series this month.

An early start as our next wave of young golfers embark on their golfing journey at the fourth leg of our Singapore Golf Association-BFG Junior Golf Series.

Our juniors are back in action as they continue their golfing journey at this week’s Singapore Golf Association- BFG 6s Challenger- 2nd Leg.

A valiant effort from our 15-year-old Chen Xingtong as she took on a strong field at the Hana Financial Group Singapore Women’s Open that includes major champion Patty Tavatanakit.

Thanks to the Singapore Golf Association for sanctioning this event with the KLPGA ㅡ Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association. Such events will give our players more playing opportunities, which will only help improve and become better golfers.

It definitely takes a brave heart from Chen Xingtong to stand tall among the game’s elite.

At only 15, the nerves were surely be playing on her mind as she teed up for her very first HSBC Women’s World Championship which featured 15 out of the world’s top 20 and all the reigning major champions at Sentosa Golf Club.

The opportunity to test herself and play against the world’s best players will put her in good stead as she continues her golfing journey to becoming an elite golfer.

Xingtong valently finished with her best score of 72 during the last round shows she has the mental and physical fortitude to cope with the demands of the professional game.

We wish Xingtong, along with the rest of our Singapore golfers will be given more of such opportunities and exposure to grow.

At BFG Golf, we support Singapore Golf Association and their initiatives in their Junior Development scheme to promote the game of golf especially with our juniors early.

The SGA-BFG Junior Series allows our juniors to experience playing golf in a competitive environment while equipping them with the necessary skills to develop their game.

Whether they decide to turn professional later or just become better golfers, BFG Golf will be there to support them in every stage of their golfing journey.
