Wamala Children's Home

It’s amazing how these little precious children are growing and transforming! We want to let you know that your prayers and kindness are impacting on more lives daily.

Imagine a child who would sleep on an empty belly is now eating everyday, someone who was sleeping on streets now has access to shelter. So many things that have positively changed and are still changing in many lives of children under our care.

“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ( Lamentations 3:22-23)

We are now in the days where children can't spend a single day without saying the word Christmas, With $50 out of $1,500 raised, I express my gratitude and humbly request your help by making a donation. With your support, we can achieve this together. Markets will be closed on Sunday and we haven’t been able to do any shopping for our Christmas celebrations due to financial difficulties.

I understand it's a challenging time for all of us as we strive to make ends meet for our loved ones. It is my wish and prayer that we all have our needs met this season and beyond.

2 New bunkbeds received so far from our bunkbed fundraiser and so far $450 raised out of our goal of $1,000

We continue to ask for your support towards our bed fundraising so that every child gets his/ her own bed and kindly donate for our Christmas celebrations.

Can you believe there are only 5 days until
Christmas? This week we would love to begin purchasing gifts, food and other items needed for our Christmas celebration. If you are considering partnering with us to host this event for our children and neighbors , now is a great time to give.

Here is a list of a few items our kids hope to receive this Christmas, with an approximate cost beside each item.

At WCH, Christmas is a big deal! We love to see the children's faces light up with joy, knowing that the Lord sees and knows them, and He cares for them deeply. You never know just how much of a blessing food is until you don't have access to it. That's why it's one of our mission to fill as many empty bellies of the orphaned kids as possible!

It takes a group of caring team to fulfill children’s basic needs. There are those who see the need and respond. You’re our heroes,thank you for your prayers, encouragement words and showing us God’s love!

I cry to you friends to help us raise the monthly budget of $500 to keep up the smiles on the faces of the children without parents to help them. They have been taking porridge as lunch for 3 days, their small bodies have already started signs of malnourishment, let's raise support for food and other Basic needs as soon as possible and restore the lost smiles. We beg friends to join us in this great cause to feed the hungry children and give to heart broken ones.
It is always impossible for one person to run or provide for the ministry. It takes a body of caring people, If you can partner with us and give monthly then you could save these destitute children.

Orphans in Uganda are pushed to face the big scary world at a very early young age, having to really face world all alone without any support. These are parentless kids that need to be parented. This is why we always come out to you to seek for donations to support and change their lives. And this where you come dear brethren. ❤❤❤.

At WCH, we have been blessed that 4 more children have joined us: Rinah, Ryan, Imran and Rahuma . The temporary sleeping situation has worked so far, but now that all the older children are at home from school for holidays, we are in need of a more permanent sleeping situation.

Wamala Childrens Home currently hosts twenty children and we are always growing. Join us as we are fundraising for $1,000 in order to purchase and provide beds and bedding for all new and old children who haven't got a bed space yet.

With your help, we will be able to purchase: bunk beds, mattresses, bedsheets, pillows and mosquito nets.
Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated, cherished and will ensure that these little ones will be safe and well rested.

Sister Rachel making the Beds for the kids, who knew a child from looking for where to sit and sleep every night now has a bed to sleep on everyday - my friends let us praise and worship the name of our Lord, through you our partners, He is changing the life of the orphaned kids - thank you 🙏.

Thankfulness should not be confined to mere words but should also overflow into actions. As followers of Christ, we demonstrate our gratitude by serving others, sharing our blessings, and embodying Christ-like love. By extending kindness, generosity, and compassion, we become tangible expressions of God's love in this world.

Meet sister Rachel a selfless pure kind hearted Lady, all she has, is a heart for kids - With hygiene and girl talk for our girls at the orphanage, we have the right person- they love her so much. A Christian Lady who loves Jesus and looks forward to serving him the rest of her life!

Sister Rachel is responsible for almost all the cooking, with a lot of food to be prepared everyday, you need a strong chest and a good back, the charcoal stoves are almost the size of the calves which means long hours of bending- thank God she is a very strong lady and loves what she is doing so much!
We love her all here, the joy for the kid's bellies !❤️

Heavenly Father, On this beautiful day, we give You all the Glory honor and praise, for we know that in You alone our hope is found. You are our strength. You are our refuge, our fortress and our strong tower, in You we will trust.

Thank You for always being there for us through the difficult times in life. There are times when we are weak, but You still speak to our hearts and say, don't give up my child because I will hold Your hand and lead you through to the end. Today I ask that You give strength to those who are weary and stressed from hearing all of the negative things going on in the world today, from the evil news media. Increase the strength of those who are feeling afraid, overwhelmed or stressed. Give them peace today as the Holy Spirit continues to lead our way. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN

Ryan, 9 years old has benifited a lot from the daily nutritious meals since he joined WCH and that is because of you our ( beloved and generous partners).

He was very tiny that he couldn't fit in clothes but to just cover him not to be naked, He now loves himself, joined school and easier for him to live out the dream that God has placed in his heart.

Meet Rinah, 6 years of age who joined WCH recently as she was found roaming the streets with other childern in a neighboring town. The locals noticed that she had no caretakers, and after no family members or next of kin could be found, she was brought to Wamala Children Home.
Although we may never know all of her background story, we truly believe that she was brought here by God. It is a privilage to care for her and nuture her. A big need at this time is for sponsorship. We could not care for these children without the help of people like you. Please consider sponsoring this sweet girl.
