Hello everyone!

We'll be having our first meeting tomorrow at 2 pm in the Library Round Room. This first meeting will be pretty laid back, since we'll just be getting to know each other and chatting. If you know anybody that wasn't able to find us at Club Rush or is interested in seeing what we're about please invite them along!

Also, if you have any ideas of fun things we could do in English Club please bring those too!

Today the English Club handed out books that were collected through the campus wide Book Drive and Books ARE Basic. Thanks to everyone who donated!

The English Club is hosting a book drive on campus from now until March 16. Age appropriate books will be distributed to The Boys and Girls Club through Books are Basic. Others will be distributed to other local organizations.

Drop off your lightly used books in the Student Center, the library, Dakotah Hall (near the gym), or Ge**er Hall.

Recently, English Club TV interviewed Dr. Anna Schwan. We chatted about King Arthur, and her past career as a high school English teacher.

Sweets and Stories tonight at 6:30 in the Student Center! What should I read? I'm thinking about Poetry for Cats. Perhaps an excerpt from "Meow of Myself" by Walt Whitman's Cat, or "Meowl" by Allen Ginsberg's Cat, or Hamlet's Cat's Soliloquy by William Shakespeare's Cat.
Either way, you should come out and buy some treats to support the English Club!

Hello everyone! We are having our second annual pumpkin painting event! Come meet some fellow English majors/minors/enthusiasts along with a few professors at Melgaard Park by the large covered picnic area on Monday (October 16th) at 4:30 PM! English Club is sponsoring twenty pumpkins and then it's BYOP (bring your own pumpkin).
