Wylie Methodist Church is a family of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
We believe that we are all sinners redeemed by God's grace through Jesus Christ. "..for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through t
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15
Have you watched the news lately? We're not in Kansas anymore. How do we navigate the uncertain times we live in? Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about it.
He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15
We may not seek out spiritual battles, but they inevitably come. Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about, "What to do when the battle chooses you".
Every Sunday I end our service with the words, "Go and Tell Someone". So what do we have that's so important to tell? Friends in Christ, it's the Message of the Cross. Join us Sunday at 8:30am or 10:45am and let's talk about it.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but as no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:16-18
A teacher of the law, wanting to test Jesus and exalt himself, asked Jesus who was his neighbor. Jesus proceeded to tell the parable of the Good Samaritan. You can read the parable in Luke 10. Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's dig a little deeper.
Jesus said, “I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit — fruit that will last. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” So we are to bear fruit. Fruit that brings God glory and proves we are His disciples. So what fruit is He talking about? And how do we produce it? Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about it.
For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you. 1 Thessalonians 1:4 (NCV)
There is a name that is, "above every name". So what Name are you answering to? Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about it.
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19
Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations". We know this scripture as The Great Commission. So, how are we doing with that church? Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about it.

Evangeline was born in Cebu, Philippines, where her family lived near a dump area. She had to skip school and babysit her younger siblings while her mom worked seven days a week, providing food for the family. Evangeline received a shoebox gift when she was 13 years old. There was only one left, and they offered it to her. Its contents met many needs for Evangeline and her family. To hear more about how a shoebox gift was an assurance that God loved her and her siblings, please join us for a special time with Evangeline as she shares her testimony. August 1, 2024 @ 6:30PM

For the past almost 22 years, I have ended almost every service with the words, "Go and tell someone." For years I didn't even realize I was saying it. Well guess what... Jesus said it first. Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and as we begin a new series entitled, "GO". You can read Mark chapter 5 to get a head start on the message.
Jesus said to Martha, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. John 11:25-26
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." Funny thing about resurrection... In order to be resurrected, something must die. Join us this Sunday morning at 8:30 or 10:45 and let's talk about it.
