Ask your questions. Get real answers from the experts...then get the vaccine. Do it for yourself, do it for your loved ones, do it for Abilene!
(Please share this with those you love! ❤)
The recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the Big Country has been very alarming and as the president, past-president and president elect of the Big Country County Medical Society we strongly encourage all eligible residents to get vaccinated. We realize this is a very personal decision and everyone has a right to decide whether or not to get vaccinated. While the vaccine does not offer 100% protection from contracting COVID-19, it does make the risk of severe disease extremely small. As our ICU fills with COVID-19 patients we are rapidly heading back to where we were and we don’t want our community to go there again. So for yourself and your community, please get vaccinated as soon as possible and if you have concerns speak with your doctor.
