My name is Maggie. I am the 2024-2025 PTO President. Some of you might know me as the face paint and paint night lady, or got to meet me at Meet the Teacher. I am so excited for this year and everything we have in mind.

Today was hard for me. It is my son’s first day of 5th grade. They don’t warn you about 5th grade and the emotions with your last firsts and your youngest.

So, to all the 5th grade parents, here is to the future leaders of America. We made it this far.

And to all the pre-k and Kinder parents, you made it! You did the hardest part today, sending them on their first day. It gets easier. There are also hard days, but the good days go by so fast.

Look to the future, soak in the little moments, be there, grow with them, and get excited for the people they will grow up to be!
