Ms. O certainly had an impact on middle school social studies & science!
Last week's lessons included PowerPoint karaoke presentations, historical reasoning, and what it means to be a responsible historian. Students had a blast exploring history and science in a completely unique way.
Your child is more than a diagnosis to us. Your family is more than an enrollment number.
We are focused on supporting the whole child, and you are an essential part of our model. Together, we will focus on your child and their academic success.
Lower school students had a great time in music class! We learned about our vocal cords and their vibrations and then explored the guitar and how the strings made different vibrations and sounds.
Theme Day Tomorrow! Remember to wear your green and white tomorrow for the Eagles!
Fridays are dress-down days, which means jeans and hoodies are allowed.
It may only be day two, but students are focused and ready to work!
In each of our classes, we have been creating our hopes, dreams, and goals for the year. We are following a new schedule and enjoying being back together again as a community.
Remember, we have adjusted the dress code this year. Please be sure to review the information again for allowable clothing attire.
Today was a beautiful day inside and outside at Center School. We hope everyone had a great day!
Students, you are incredible, and you have the power to RISE!
See you tomorrow.
Welcome Back to School, Center School Students!
We hope you have a fantastic year. Remember, we are proud of you and know you can do amazing things!
Labor Day began in the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894.
The two people most associated with founding Labor Day are Peter J McGuire, cofounder of the American Federation of Labor, and Matthew Maguire, secretary of the Central Labor Union.
Your child is more than a diagnosis to us. Your family is more than an enrollment number.

Dyslexia is a lifelong condition that can affect people differently, but it doesn't affect intelligence.
We are excited to host a dyslexia simulation with the Pennsylvania Branch of The International Dyslexia Association on September 26th. The simulation often begins with a brief discussion of dyslexia, including its neurological basis, warning signs, and interventions that have been shown, through solid research, to have a positive impact.
Participants then participate in a series of simulated activities that mimic the experiences and processing of those with dyslexia.
Be sure to sign up today, as space is limited for this event - https://bit.ly/dyslexiasimulation2024

Who is watching the Olympics? What is your favorite event?
We were drawn to the track and field events, especially to the USA athlete Noah Lyles, who won the gold medal for the 100-meter sprint! He did not let any of his challenges stand in his way of achieving success!
Center School students, keep pushing through, aim high, and be the best that you can. The world is waiting for you!
