We are hoping everyone had a restful and enjoyable holiday weekend! We are winding down the school year and so excited with all the culminating activities and performances at the end of the school year.

The students did an amazing job and kept the audience engaged through every performance! We want to give a big shout out to Mrs. Jin Lee all her work and dedication in the spring musical, "Back to the Cross." We were taken on a series of time-traveling escapades with a group of time travelers embarking on a wild ride, immersing them in various time periods and cultures (including the totally tubular 1980s, the roaring ‘20s, the Wild, Wild West, and more), all leading to a point of discovery about the importance of the Cross and the message of the Gospel. This was such a memorable experience for all! 🥰🎼

Today is VCS Pet Day! Calling all pet owners, we would love for you to bring your pet to school for Pet Day. It will take place today, May 23rd at 2:15pm in the side yard. All pets must be in a cage or on a leash. Students are not permitted to bring their pets to school for the school day; their parents must bring their pets at 2:15.

Remember to notify the office if you are changing your normal dismissal plans and picking up your child that day.

We can’t wait to see our elementary students shine TONIGHT in the school musical. 5th graders should arrive at 5:45 pm and go to the Sanctuary. PK-4th graders should arrive between 6-6:30 and go to their classrooms. Sanctuary doors open at 6:30 for parents to enter.

Who is still talking about all the fun had at Valley Fest? 🗣We are!! Despite the drizzle, we had a GREAT turnout today at Valley Fest 2024! Valley Fest is a great community event and a family reunion.🥰

A big thank you to Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Stephens for coordinating such a wonderful event. We also want to thank all the volunteers, vendors, and families that came out to support 50 years of VCS. We are so blessed to have such an amazing and nurturing community. Here is to 50 more years!!🙏🙌🥳💙

TBT-Throwback Thursday! Last Thursday, May 2, VCS recognized the National Day of Prayer by praying as a whole school. We prayed for our nation, community, and school. We are thankful that we can pray any day and celebrate in prayer at VCS! 🙏❤

Feeling so blessed to be part of such a kind and caring community! We love our staff, and we love our PTF! Our PTF hosted a lovely lunch for Teacher Appreciation Day with gift bags, delicious lunch, and a sweet treat! Thank you!! 🥰💙
