Pop up hours Thursday!!! Great time to come get some homemade ice cream! If you come out with the family and need a budget friendly outing, you can get a scoop and only add a topping or two!!

This was our trees two weeks ago. Harvest time is getting closer!!! The next six weeks will be full days spent cleaning up the grove, trimming trees, gathering sticks, mowing, and keeping a close eye as we near harvest season. As of now, our trees should be ready to shake mid October but from this point on, it's out of our hands. Mother nature will call the shots on this one! Any severe weather and when the first freeze hits can change everything.

Byrd's Fun Fact: Our most popular question we are asked is "how many trees do you have?" And the answer to that is we do not know. We have approximately 600 acres of pecan trees so we guestimate we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 9,000 trees.

Who has pecan trees?? How many pecans do you currently have in your clusters? 3-5 is a sign of a good crop and good size. More than that and they will likely be smaller in size.

Looks like we are going to have a descent crop this year. Will know more in about 6-8 weeks. We'll start keeping you posted.

Happy Monday!!! What better than a cinnamon raisin biscuit made from scratch to get the week started off right!!

These biscuits really hit the memory train for me. Fun fact: did you know my first job at 16 was filling in for the biscuit maker at Hardee’s on the weekends back when they made them all from scratch. AND it was stressful on Sundays because they did all you can eat biscuits and gravy! I thought the older lady that taught me how to make them was really hard core at the time and even mean when she would snap at me that I “wasn’t rolling them out fast enough” and “Don’t forget to butter them IMMEDIATELY!” 😄 and here I am saying these same things to my staff just a few (plus a few more) years later. It was because of what that baker taught me that I knew making biscuits from scratch would be a staple on my menu.

We also have apple cinnamon along with jalapeño cheddar, cheddar bacon, and gluten free plain biscuits which you can also add to your breakfast sandwich. We serve breakfast all day!

How about a coconut delight milkshake or a white chocolate raspberry latte with cold foam!!

Maybe if we start baking “fall” items it will start to cool off 🤷‍♀️ come and get a loaf of homemade apple cinnamon bread and enjoy a slice with your coffee ☕️🍏
