It’s been a minute since I’ve posted! Trust me, it’s not because I’ve not been busy!! Last Thursday we had a celebration of life for 150 Parks & Rec! Meatloaf, chicken Marsala, Green Beans, Roasted potatoes and heavy appetizers or shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, & grilled crustini w/ Brie & strawberries!

I’m constantly asked how to Hard boil fresh farm eggs. TBH. I have tried everything! Baking soda, vinegar, or salt in the water. Nothing worked 100%! BUT I have been doing this for years. And I’ve had AMAZING success!
First boil your water. Nothing else in the water.
Once water is at a rolling boil. Add raw eggs into the boiling water with a spoon to gently place them in the water. Do not try to drop them in. They will crack. Keep stove on high. Set timer for 10 minutes. Turn off stove. Let eggs sit in water for about 15-20 minutes. Then drain as much hot water off the eggs as you can. Add cold water until eggs are almost covered. Then put several handfuls of ice in the water. Let eggs cool completely. Then crack and peel. Putting the eggs in the boiling water breaks that membrane around the eggs. That’s the key to success! Happy Easter! ♥️
