A couple more bulls taken in the later seasons. These were both some fun hunts and neat encounters. Congrats on some nice elk!

Couple more elk down in the later weeks from last year’s season. First time elk for these two. Congrats!

A good week of hunting and a tired horse. Dillon thought pizza looked dead but he was just sleeping.

Doc and his first elk. What a fun stalk this hunt was sneaking up the mountain and then down to finally catch up to the herd and wait for this bull to present himself for a shot. Congrats!

Mark and Pats’ bulls they got up by spike camp. Fun fast hunts! Congratulations on lots of elk pounds down and some good bulls too.

Jeff with his elk. After Bill shooting his bull minutes before, Vince and Jeff kept hunting and caught up to a group of elk with this nice cow for Jeff. Congrats Jeff!

Bill with his first elk. We were able to cut this bull off as he was running to another group of elk bugling back and forth. Super fun hunt. Congratulations!

Three generations of the rust family. Troy, Tanner, and Asher. Just beautiful being in the mountains and getting to share this time with them.

Archery successes. Congrats to these guys! Joe and Joe. First time elk hunt for one and another successful trip for the other.

Want to thank my guides this year. They always do an outstanding job working hard to get their hunters their elk. Proud to have this team with me. Thanks to Rob, Chris, and Dillon! We had a great year with lots of success due to them. Timeline of the 2023 season to come.

Got a tripple in and around the potholes during this particular evening’s hunt during the late rifle season. Congratulations to Scott and Kyle Johnson and Rachael! Cleaning all three elk made for a slightly later night but one that was well worth it.

Last trip across the brazos river before lots of snow fell last season. I’m on Galavant, he’s a 5 yr old blue roan stud and doing well.

Crazy frozen hill next to a soft unfrozen bog and we slid into it. Tried to avoid it by goin higher but got sucked in. Needed help from the real horse power wagon. Dillon came to the rescue with Tank and Truly.
