The Exchange Club of Lee County Honored a local Business and Individual at their annual Proudly We Serve program for those who fly the American Flag correctly everyday.

This year we Honored Jerry Jones who has been flying and American Flag for many years.

We also Honored Dyes Heating and Cooling, a local business that always flys the American Flag and also assist local Exchange Clubs.

Thank both of you for Honoring American and the American Flag!

The Exchange Club of Albany is looking for a Resident Manager to manage the RV Park. Space will be provided along with Full Hookup for Electricity, Water, Sewer and Wifi.

Light maintence and assist in Checking people in and out. Most of the RV's are long term residents and management is relatively low key. We are currently building a Bathroom/Shower/Wash House that should be completed in a few months.

RV Park is located at the Exchange Club Fair Grounds.

Must have RV and live on premises.

The Exchange Club of Lee County is having a Program on the Proper Disposal of the Flag July 15th at Joseph Jones Funeral home at 6:00.

The Exchange Club of Albany had a very informative program presented by Angie Barber, Director of Network of Trust School Health Program, a division of Phoebe Putney Health System.
In her role, she provides leadership to the Network of Trust and School Health Program staff and students.

She has over 25 years of experience providing direction, strategy, coordination, program implementation, grant partnerships, expansion, operations and evaluation of nurses training and schedules. She is a presenter for state conferences and serves as community liaison including: Educational training, organization and communication for the Community Outreach services in the Dougherty County area.

She is involved with many groups in the Community and has a passion for Community Outreach, the joy in helping other and leading the way to helping others to be successful.

Thank you Angie for your service to the Community and your dedication to so many organizations that serve the area.

Apparently the higher you go in Exchange, the harder you have to work on Projects!

Installing American Flags for several businesses and individuals that were donated by several Exchange Members.

Installing these Flags are Vice President of Region 10 and VFR of the Year, Fussell Hughes, Skip Nichols, incoming President of Georgia District, Gary Knight, incoming Vice President in Georgia District and Jack Roberts , VFR, Past District President and many other positions. Also assisting on one of the Flags is Ray Hinman, the incoming Treasurer for Georgia District!

Thank you to Southern Pines, Skip Nichols and several other members for the donation. We have donated and installed 16 so far and have 4 more scheduled!

Thank everyone for the Donations and a number of Exchange Club Members of Albany for the Installation. Hope the Project continues the entire year!!

The Exchange Club of Albany had a very interesting and informative program by Albany Symphony Orchestra and Theatre Albany.

Claire Hillard provided information on upcoming events for the next year including several fundraisers. One of the very exciting facts was that the Symphony will not be charging for Admission this year. They are celebrating 60 years of performances!
Starting in October, they will have concert on “Film Music-James Bond Movies”, Peppermint Pops in December, special composer in March and the final concert in April.

Ben Roberts, President of the Albany Symphony discussed several Fundraisers they are planning and ask for everyone’s support!

Justin Neal with Theatre Albany provided information on upcoming programs but also the many other functions that Theatre Albany is involved in throughout the year. They are also looking for Volunteers in many areas! Even if you have no acting or theatre experience, they are looking for ushers, ticket scanners, will call window just to name a few.

They have 8 ticket package for 125.00 but are also accepting donations from the Supporter Level to Producer level.

Job Announcement - Visual Information Specialist

* Create content for social media, publications and park websites related to the historical events that took places at the parks and convey how these events played a major role in the development of our nation.

* Work with NPS staff and partners to create interactive presentations on the micro and macro effects of our site story.

* Develop and edit multimedia content including video, motion graphics, images, text, and audio to create products to support the park's public engagement, safety goals, and staff development goals.

* Use emerging technology to communicate with the public, using products such as, virtual web-based activities, podcasts, video production and apps to meet an agency's mission.
