To all the people who make comments like “poor dog”, “this is abuse”, “where are her booties?”, “isn’t she cold?”, “it looks like she’s suffering!”, “you are a wretched person”, “why do you make her do this?” this reel is for you. These people obviously never were or never had a savage daughter. . When I get frustrated by things like her stubbornness, how she’s set in her ways whether they are good or bad ways, her selfless fierceness when it comes to defending her pack, I have to step back and realize I am the same. We also both embrace challenge, physical exertion, the elements, freedom, independence, and a love of the mountains in all seasons. I am with her every step of the way and we love every minute of it even if some suffering is happening. She is indeed her mother’s savage daughter and I don’t see anything wrong with that…do you?! .
