On Monday, November 4th at 7 pm, the Cathedral will offer a Solemn Requiem Mass for All Souls with Absolution of the Dead at the Catafalque. We will pray for the repose of the souls of members of the Cathedral congregation who have died in the past year, as well as those whose names have been submitted.

Please leave in the comments of this post the names of loved ones you would like to be remembered at this Mass.

Let the people rejoice! Bishop Sean Rowe was elected on the first ballot, out of five candidates to the the next Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Bishop Rowe is currently the Bishop of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York.

We have entered the period of our summer schedule for the Cathedral's weekday Mass, which will extend until Monday, September 9. The only weekday Mass will take place on Wednesdays, at 12:05 pm as usual.
