Insha-Allah we will be having a morning assembly/pep rally TOMORROW March 24th at 9am in the morning in the main masjid. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize the amazing accomplishments and achievements of our students and teachers. We hope to see you there!💙💛

MA Physical Education Department and the Office of the Dean would like to thank Edson Garcia, Galaxy Group Sales Representative, for providing a tour of the Dignity Health Sports Complex to Mr. Yacoob and facilitating the game this past Saturday! He stopped by and presented the Dean of Students with a Galaxy Shawl. Let's Go Minaret!⭐️

Al-Hamdulillah, the Minaret Galaxy game was a huge success with students, alumni, parents as well as family & friends watching the home opener at the Dignity Health Sports Park in the city of Carson. ⚽️⚽️⚽️ Let's Go Minaret!💙💛

SPORTS DAY 2023! 🏀🏃🏈🏃‍♂️🏓🏆🏃‍♀️⚽️ students participated in several different activities indoors and won prizes for winning⭐️ Thank you so so much to our parents for helping out at each stall and explaining the rules of the games to students! 💛

Our 5B’s BOOSTERTHON FUN RUN was a great success, Alhamdulillah!⭐️ Teachers, Students, and Parents had so much fun participating and cheering each other on. This program challenged our students to explore new ways of seeing the world, care for others, and strengthen their own personal growth through the 5B’s! 🐝 Thank you so so much to everyone who supported Minaret Academy to help raise funds for the Patio Project and to help us reach our 10k goal💙 we couldn’t have done this without you!

Minaret was glowing with pride! As part of the program, students were challenged to explore new ways of seeing the world, care for others, and strengthen their own personal growth through the 5B's. Minaret family and friends had a fabulous Sunday Funday at Heisler Park in beautiful Laguna Beach🏝

Marine Officers led a tide pool lesson and field exploration followed by a lovely lunch. In addition, our dear Ms. Hala, the art teacher led a engaging painting session overlooking the coastline🎨

All proceeds were contributed to fund the arts at Minaret Academy.

In Mrs. Salma’s and Mrs. Mayssan’s Arabic Class 4th graders created posters about Saving Water! 💧

5th graders Layan Karaze, Aleeza Kathrada, Sara Bawani, Layla Hadeed, Jenna Makhsida, Zane Labanieh, Maryam Abawi, and Ahmed Haider in Mrs. Jidah and Mrs. Dina’s Quran class earned a certificate of memorization of Surah Al-Maarij, mashAllah! We are proud of you 👏🏽

6th graders visited 1st grade this morning to give them cards containing compliments in them to meet our Boosterthon Physical Challenge for the day💙💛
