Setting boundaries is akin to drawing lines in the sand, marking where one's comfort, limits, and values lie.

However, life is dynamic and ever-changing, presenting situations that may test these boundaries. Instead of fearing these challenges, we should view them as opportunities for growth.

When faced with circumstances that push against our boundaries, it prompts us to reevaluate them. We must ask ourselves if our boundaries are valid, necessary, and appropriate for the current situation. Then we need to repeat this reassessment process over and over again, until our boundaries become strong and our hearts open.

Hello and welcome!

My name is Olga Maly, and I am a clinical mental health counselor in private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I work with individuals and couples, who struggle with mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, BPD, relationship issues, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I have always been very passionate about helping people, yet what I realized many years ago is that a desire to change cannot be forced onto someone; it has to come from within. This realization helped me shift my attention inward and focus wholeheartedly on my personal and professional growth.

I have spent years studying psychology, exploring different cultures, beliefs, and ways of being. Now I get to combine my love for learning with my passion for helping people in the most rewarding and fulfilling way!

As a psychotherapist, I believe in an integrative and holistic approach and the importance of the mind-body connection in understanding personal struggles and how people deal with stress in their lives. I am dedicated to gently guiding people towards greater self-awareness and enhanced mental health.
