If you are a Sigma Rho member attending School of Nursing Commencement, this message is for you!
We would love to get a group photo of the Sigma Rho chapter graduates in their academic garb at commencement on May 4. Meet Dr. Ann Kruszewski on the front steps of Hill Auditorium at 12:40. Please be ready and try to gather quickly so you can be on time for check-in for nursing commencement. Be sure to wear your purple honor cords!
I know the timing is tight for graduates who are coming from the Big House commencement. But it is impossible to get a photo after the School of Nursing commencement because of the pandemonium of graduates and families looking for each other and the next graduation ceremony starting at Hill. Feel free to email me if you have questions.
Congratulations to all of the graduates--we are so proud of you!

Dear Rho Members:

The Planning Committee of the 2024 Annual Research, Scholarship & Innovation Symposium is looking forward to showcasing the newest research from current and former students and faculty during our Research, Scholarship & Innovation Symposium on April 3, 2024. The theme for this year’s event is Leading the Way by Advancing Health and Health Equity. The Planning Committee is now looking for volunteers to help review electronic (PDF) poster submissions. Each submission will be scored by multiple reviewers and scores will determine the recipients of the Best Poster Awards given annually to outstanding posters authored by students within each degree program (i.e. Undergraduate, Masters, DNP, PhD) and a member of the faculty. The student awards will be sponsored by Rho Chapter with a monetary award this year. The award ceremony is held during the Symposium, and it is one of the highlights of the event!

Would you be interested in volunteering to be a reviewer?

Each reviewer will be assigned 6 – 8 posters. In total, it should take approximately three hours of your time. If you are interested and would like more details on the role of a poster reviewer for this event, please contact Coreen Abston at [email protected].

More information on this event can be found at:

Thank you for considering!
