Last week on Friday our WHOLE SCHOOL raked leaves in our neighborhood as part of a school-wide service project! 🍂 They had just a little bit of fun too.😉
Our kindergarten students are learning about their 5 senses in module 1 of their literacy curriculum. This week they focused on the sense of sound by reading the book Rap A Tap Tap: Here’s Bojangles Think of That. They celebrated by turning their shoes into tap shoes!

Jefferson Elementary and Fox River Academy participated in The Great Apple Crunch last week!

This event encourages healthy eating and supports farm to school and other local food purchasing initiatives throughout the region. It’s also a fun way to connect food and agriculture to classroom curricula – from science to art & more!
✨Students from all over the Midwestern states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio celebrated National Farm to School Month by crunching into locally and regionally grown apples at same time!

Can you help?
Donation hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 1pm and Monday evening 6-8pm. Gunderson Cleaners in Neenah, Appleton and Oshkosh also accept items in our behalf.
Tops, pants, socks and underwear in new or gently-used condition would be so appreciated by the over 10,500 clients we are currently serving at our Menasha storefront and through our Traveling Closet. Every donation makes a difference ! ❤️

Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School! Jefferson is located next door to Appleton's scenic Pierce Park and continues to exhibit tremendous pride in its long standing history of excellence, community and rich cultural diversity since 1949.
Jefferson is one of the seven elementary schools in Appleton to be a part of the Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) Program. The AGR program allows a participating school to meet the obligations of its five-year contract by implementing one of three strategies, or a combination of these strategies in every kindergarten through grade three classroom:
