SANTA RUN POSTPONED!
Due to the inclement weather this afternoon we will be moving the Santa run to Monday, December 18th starting at 6pm. We will be hitting all of Ardmore beginning at 6pm!
Similar to last year, we will have a Santa tracker! We hope to see you out there!
We are holding our annual Santa run on Sunday, December 17th starting at 3pm and Monday, December 18th starting at 6pm. On December 17th, we will be doing the Wynnewood section and Ardmore section north of the train tracks. We will be starting on Station Road off of Penn Road in Wynnewood. On December 18th, we will be doing the Ardmore section south of the train tracks. We will be starting on Holland Road off of Lancaster Ave. Similar to last year, we will have a Santa tracker! We hope to see you out there!
12/14/2023 15:38 - The building fire response was transmitted to Anderson Ave for a report of smoke in the building. First in crew removed light ballasts and checked for extension.
12/02/2023 11:03 - The Merion Fire Company responded to 51 St. Georges Square for an odor of gas in the area. After consulting with the LM Sewer Dept. the issue was found and resolved.
12/01/2023 20:14 - Station 25 was called to East Spring Ave near Simpson for an odor investigation.
11/29/2023 19:27 - The Merion Fire Company and Engine 23 responded to 21 Cricket and handled a stove fire.
11/28/2023 05:50 - Station 25, with an assist from 21, responded to The Lower Merion Township Building to investigate an odor of something burning.
11/26/2023 09:17 - The Merion Fire Company responded to Spring Ave for a carbon monoxide incident.
11/22/2023 18:03 - Station 25 handled a C/0 call on Delmont Ave in Ardmore.
11/18/2023 21:45 - The building response responded to East Athens Ave for a report of smoke coming from a building. Firefighters quickly forced into an apartment and handled a stove fire.
11/16/2023 08:32 - Ladder 25 responded to #10 Union Ave in Bala Cynwyd to assist with a car fire on the lower Level of the parking garage. All Lower Merion companies went into service. Manoa Fire Company assisted as a FAST team. Chief 25 assisted as the accountability officer.
11/14/2023 09:39 - Engines 25 & 25-1 responded to Sutton Road in Ardmore for a gas line struck in the street.
11/10/2023 09:52 - Station 25 handled a report of an odor inside 129 Coulter Ave in Ardmore.
11/3/2023 11:33 - Engine 25 assisted in checking buildings during a major water leak on Cricket Ave.
10/31/2023 18:30 - Members of the Merion Fire Company participated in a Halloween celebration at the Ardmore Community Center. The costumes are great and the event was fun!!!!
10/27/2023 09:02 - Station 25 assisted Gladwyne with a working kitchen fire at 381 Williamson Road. Engine 25-1 dropped a 5" supply line on the way in. Our members then went inside to open up. We thank the Manoa Fire Company for covering our station during the fire.
10/23/2023 08:44 - Engine and Ladder 25 handled an elevator rescue at 40 East Montgomery Ave. Firefighter Powers gave aid to the person who was trapped during a power failure.
10/19/2023 09:10 - The Merion Fire Company assisted The Bryn Mawr Fire Company on the working fire dispatch that went out for a building on fire at 1112 E. Lancaster Avenue. The first arriving crews found a fire in the ventilation ducts that had spread to the roof. The fire was extinguished by the crews on the scene.
10/18/2023 19:30 - On Wednesday evening October 18, 2023, Lower Merion Township recognized members of the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore, Penn Wynne Fire Company, and Narberth Ambulance for their efforts rescuing a homeowner from a house fire on Sussex Road.

Deputy Chief Hayden was presented with a Heroism Commendation for his lead role in this rescue.

10/6/23 10:15 - Crews from Engine and Ladder 25 handled an elevator rescue in the 200 block of East Lancaster Ave.
10/4/2023 14:36 - Engine and Ladder 25 handled a gas meter that was pulled off of a house by a car on Roosevelt Terrace in Ardmore.
10/3/2023 09:58 - Member of the Merion Fire Company responded to Church Road in King Of Prussia to assist with a building fire. The fire was quickly handled by crews on scene
10/1/2023 11:20 - Station 25 handled an unattended stove fire in a house on the 100 Block of Simpson Road.
10/1/2023 07:00 to 12:00 - The annual Rotary Club of Ardmore's Pancake Breakfast to support The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was a resounding success! Great food and fun was had by all those who attended and all of us at the Station! Thanks to everybody who came out and a special thank you to all of our sponsors, We could not do what we do without all of you!
9/27/2023 17:16 - The Merion Fire Company and the Lower Merion working fire assignment responded to a fire on Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore. The fire was quickly controlled by firefighters.

9/22/2023 11:24 - Engine 25-1 responded to assist at a building fire at 370 Montgomery Ave in Bala Cynwyd. The fire in the basement was quickly controlled.
