The church is the voice in the wilderness, calling for repentance and preparing the way for Jesus. We point to Christ in all things because our hope is that with Christ present in all things, everything is being made new. We have hope in the truth that, no matter how powerful the forces of this world may seem, Christ has already overcome, and his kingdom is here among us.

Hygiene kits supply kits with basic personal hygiene items like a hand towel, wash cloth, toothbrush, nail clipper, and band-aids. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) distributes these kits in disaster areas, e.g., after hurricanes, tornadoes and floods.
We will pack them on June 9, 2024 during Fellowship Hour following worship.
Please also consider a donation—in kind of materials per the packing list or a monetary gift for the purchase of materials and the costs of toothpaste and shipping.
This ministry is being led by the Suzanna Wesley Circle of the United Women of Faith.
For more information and to coordinate the purchase of materials, please contact Christiane Roehler.
A big thank you to our two’s class who planted new flowers to welcome all who visit Walker Chapel! 🌼🌹🌸
