Dear clients and neighbors,
Please excuse the mess and the inconvenience around the hospital for the past month and in the coming months. It is not our construction. The city has reclaimed some of our property in order to install a turn lane onto Green Oaks Boulevard. They have assured us that entrance into our driveway will remain available throughout this process so just come on in around the cones. We intend to operate normally despite the mess and to be here for your four-legged (and three-legged) family members.
A message from our grooming room:
Its winter time again, and with that comes the idea that dogs donβt need grooming as often. When in fact itβs just as important to groom them during the colder months as any other time of the year. The popular belief is that a dogβs hair should be allowed to grow out during wintertime to keep it warm. This can be more detrimental than beneficial. If a dogβs hair is left long and isnβt regularly (daily) brushed and combed at home. This can cause the formation of uncomfortable mats and tangles, leading to skin irritations and infections. Even double coated dogs need to see the groomer in winter. Their coats act like a filter. If to much undercoat is allowed to build up the filter can no longer work properly. Removing allergens, dirt and dander from your pets skin and fur regularly is a good thing. Many dogs are on an every 4-8 week schedule. Ask your groomer today what schedule would be best for your furry friend.
