Our sermon on Sunday wrapped up the series, Together for the Future, and it ended with a prayer from Dr. Wiles.

In his prayer, he thanked God for the opportunity to be part of His kingdom work and recognized the foundation laid by previous generations. He also asked for wisdom, encouragement, and resilience for those who are in the process of rebuilding, so that they may honor God.

And one of the things he wants to do while you’re on your journey of rebuilding is discourage you and keep you from making any more progress.

Sunday evening, we held a Service of Ordination where we prayed over and blessed these individuals in their call to ministry and their commitment to that calling. We Ordained Connor, Luke, Tanner and Carl to the Gospel of Ministry. We also Licensed Brock to the Gospel of Ministry.

Join us in continuing to pray for these people as they live out the calling God has placed on their heart.

Who else is ready for Family Movie Night with The Children's Ministry?! Come celebrate the first Friday of the school year TOMORROW, Friday the 16th!

The doors open at 6:30pm in the PCB (Preschool Children’s Building) and the movies start at 7:00pm. You can choose from Chicken Little or Sing.

Bring your favorite blankets, pillows or chairs (most parents prefer to bring their camping chairs) to help you get comfy for the movie!

All concessions are FREE - hot dogs, Frito pie, popcorn, nachos, candy, sodas, and water!

You do not have to be a church member to come, so please invite a friend, neighbor or a new classmate.
