Today we're celebrating Marissa simply because she's the best! As our manager she can be seen handling a variety of scenarios around the cafe like a true BOSS! Her only flaw may be forgetting where she sat her oat cappuccino or afternoon tea. 🍵

WTF is Signature Beverage Competition?

While not all are alike, ours will be a showdown between a collection of talented baristas all with different backgrounds in coffee. Competitors will bring a recipe from home and build it on site while presenting their process. Hot or iced , but it must be vegan (a fun lil twist).

Anyone can come watch with no sign-ups required! Any barista, with ANY experience, it doesn't matter how long or from where, can sign-up to participate at the link in our bio 🔗

Event sign-ups officially closed yesterday, but don't fret!!! My name is Bri (they/she), and I'm the human behind this event with the power to extend sign-ups till 11/17. This is your opportunity!!! A bit more about me: I'm a UNCA Management Major completing my senior year, and this event is infact a part of my capstone internship. I hope to use my degree to propel social businesses and continue following my passion in coffee! I identify as a q***r Appalachian kid and a mother of 2 black cats! 🐈‍⬛
