Mark your calendars!!! MHA spirit night is next Tuesday, September 26th from 5-9pm at Alumni Cookie Dough. 10% of proceeds within that timeframe will go towards the MHA E-Board budget! This will allow our program to put on more professional events. Feel free to show up at your convenience anytime between 5-9pm!!!

This Black History Month the MHA program wanted to highlight local black-owned restaurants in the Athens area!
We will have the wonderful opportunity to dine in at: Dawg Gone Good BBQ & Weaver D’s.
Dawg Gone Good BBQ is owned by Williams Hardy. Many of the dishes are prepared and based on his family recipes!
Weaver D’s is a soul-food restaurant located on East Broad Street. In 2007, the James Beard Foundation named it an American Classic, a designation given to small restaurants who provide "good, down-home food" and "unmatched hospitality.”
