Activities include:
*Blood drive hosted by the American Red Cross.
*FREE Onsite COVID vaccinations and boosters will be provided by the Morehouse School of Medicine.
*FREE HIV home self-tests will be distributed by the CDC.

In addition, there will be music, health activities, and fitness demonstrations throughout the day.

Yesterday was simply wonderful! The Little Miss Pearl pageant was a huge success. The pageant featured and elementary middle school girls that displayed their talents, and poise. They were amazing. Thank you to the committee, the parents and well wishers.

Guess who stopped by The Ivy Center? None other than the beautiful and talented T-Boz and Chilli of TLC, America's top selling female group of all time. They shared stories of growing up in the community and spending time at the center when it was formerly known as Jellybean Skating Arena. They expressed how influential it was on their overall style and success.

We also talked about upcoming projects and collaborations. Make sure to stay tuned for more interesting tidbits and announcements coming soon.

REMINDER: Join us tomorrow (Saturday, January 22), 9 AM - 1 PM for our Wrapped in Warmth winter clothing drive held at the Ivy Community Center.

We are accepting women, men, and children items. Donations will be distributed to local families and our partner organizations. Some of the receiving organizations include the Atlanta Children's Shelter, Atlanta Mission, My Sister's House, Bankhead Boys Association, and OneWarmCoat.

EVENT CANCELLATION NOTICE DUE TO WEATHER
We regretfully announce that tomorrow’s MLK Day of Service at the Ivy Community Center has been canceled due to inclement weather and out of concern for our members and volunteers.

Our Wrapped in Warmth drive has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 22, 9 am- 1pm at the Ivy Community Center. At that time, please bring your winter garments (such as coats, scarves, gloves, and hats) to be donated.

We are still working with our vendors to reschedule the shredding and Covid-19 vaccination activities. We will update you once a new date has been rescheduled for those service opportunities.
