ok i am alittle upset at little Max for what he did at the end of book 2 but i still have to respect his come up from community F

On Max's Super Mech, which they built from scratch, from the feet up to the head, it took just a little over one year of development. We call it Little Senator since Little Max's granddad was there for the ribbon cutting. It was a very heartwarming moment, seeing family coming together after years of exile.

The funny thing about Max's Super Mech is that Little Max made sure his department was at the head of the mech so he could jump out for a quick second, shoot his pistol, then make his way back into the mech. You have to see this guy in action. World One Leaders would never allow his actions, although he’s smart like Benshiro in a way, but just very immature for 18.

His position on the mech holds true to the legend that the best Mech Developers reside on the edges of the ship, like the head, the feet, or the hands. They have to really work their magic in battle, measuring everything out before attacking. Imagine aiming at something while someone else is moving you; it's a challenge. Missiles are fast, but mechs' defenses are faster. With shield optimization, a mech can be strong enough to block a few hundred missiles during battle. This doesn't mean a mech will run out of missiles after using only 100 of them, but missing shots is pivotal in these battles.

Little Max is almost an adult now, but as a child growing up in F-Community, their favorite game was Mech A.I. 2118. They played it constantly until 2123, when it became illegal. It seems like a lot of games become illegal over time due to their capabilities. I guess it gave perfect instructions on how to build these mechs, and they don't want anyone building too many. The game had so many capabilities because it was built on A.I. Basically, you controlled the mech from any department you chose. The game worked like a real-life mech, with someone always controlling the ship. Yes, you could control the ship from any department with authorization, but in the middle of battle, getting approved in the game could be frustrating because no one wants to give up full control of the mech.

You could play a pivotal role as a missile guy, knowing exactly where to aim and when to shoot. Some departments, like the midsection in the chest, are solely for this and for defensive tactics. I almost forgot: these guys play a big role in shielding and protecting the mech, utilizing different defense mechanics. No mech is complete without a great team—unless you use Octomos A.I., which can be pretty good depending on what model you can afford. Some good players make Octomos control the mech and usually play department-switching through Octomo control, something the game has that we don't have in real life. In real life, the only way to switch departments is to physically go into the department to have full control, like figuring out when your aluminum alloy missile casings are back to being full.

Yes, the game has the same types of missiles as real life. Mechs in real life have almost unlimited chemical solutions in their chemical tanks, which could be in different parts of the ship, but these tanks take up about 25% of the ship's guts. The veins run to each department where the missiles are created using alloy metal shells. This system runs almost perfectly as the solutions formed from mixing in the veins are just technical genius. Different chemicals make different types of explosions or almost anything you can formulate. This is where a great scientist comes into play because they really know their mixes and prepare the perfect chemicals to use in battle, which is critical to success.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: when the missile hits its target, the aluminum alloy that flew off the ship and landed on the ground could either come back to make more missiles or do what it’s programmed to do. Maybe you programmed it to take out missile chemical veins inside the ship once it finds an entry point. If those are not protected, the alloy can make its way right in. But if it is protected, then no, nothing—no entry, and the alloy goes back to your own mech or another possible entrance.

I miss playing this game. As the last A.I., I chose not to play games anymore. It's kind of sick bringing things back to life. I wouldn’t want to end up creating another A.I.

"What you are seeing on your module is the activation process of the model," the instructor announced. "This will take a full twenty minutes as Team A0 - A1 controls the system from a ship positioned at the farthest point from Earth."

Proctor interrupted, bewildered. "What? How did they get that far in such a short amount of time? So, you're telling me they can do more than save a state and return to it—they can teleport too? Wow, whoever designed this didn't consider us humans at all."

"As you can see," the instructor continued, "Team A0 - A1 is starting the process at the farthest point from Earth for security reasons. This will initialize the model and begin the procedure in ten minutes. When you prompt your AI, you'll be interacting with Model Proto."

Benshiro prompted his module. "Hi, AI Model Proto. I am Benshiro, one of your developers."

"I know, Benshiro," the AI responded. "You are a pivotal part of my completion, ranking high in the A1 - 2000 tier. How can I assist you today?"

Benshiro nodded. "Okay, I want to conduct some research. Could you provide me with a list of illegal subjects so I don't get penalized?"

The AI spoke clearly. "As of now, all subjects are legal. To all A1 - A2000 members, feel free to ask me anything."

Benshiro leaned forward, curiosity evident in his voice. "Okay, tell me about Quandrum Manics. I want to know what they are capable of and everything you know about A0 - A1 and their jobs."

"Quandrum Manics are developed to replicate human behavior," the AI explained. "Once replicated, they can test this behavior. If they find the assignment unsatisfactory, they will revert to a previous state and work from there. They receive their certification on whats good or accepted from Model Proto as of 50 seconds ago , and their inputs come from the A1 - A2000 development team. As for the A0 - A1 jobs—I'm sorry, you have 24 hours until this data is public."

Benshiro frowned. "What will the A0 - A1 beings be doing?"

The AI repeated, "I'm sorry, this data will become public in 24 hours."

Proctor sighed, frustrated. "I don't know, man. Model Proto tells us we can ask about A0 - A1, but then says the info won't be available until 24 hours when our first official workday starts. I wonder what tasks they'll have for us."

The next day, an announcement echoed through the workspace. "Welcome to your first day of work. Introduce yourself to your full team, which includes your A0 - A1 replicas. Please do not be afraid and listen to what they have planned for you today."
