You talkin' to your folks while fanning flies outside today.
You: Where yo' babies goin' to school next year?
Yo' folk: Back to so-and-so. I will be glad when they get's up out of there.
You: Me too! I wish I could send my baby to a microschool.
Yo' folk: Guhl, what's that?
Yo' 'hot' self: Chile, it's a little one room school house like Little House on the Prairie, but for Black children. It don't be nothing but about 15 chirren' in there, going on field trips all the time and learning. Them children look so happy and stay growing by two grade levels every year. I wish we had that when we were growin' up!
Yo folk: What?! Lil' Rod gots to be behind by at least two years and that school just keep passin' him along. I wonder if they got one by me. How much it cost?
You (knowing she cheap): Honey, this school I follow in Atlanta, PASS Pod, only charge $6000 a year, and you know them private schools double or triple that.
Yo folk (all ears): You lyin'!
You: Yep, look at they IG https://www.instagram.com/passnetworkorg/
After looking through IG hit them wit' it!
You: Um, bout to order me some of this popcorn to help them out. I just love what they are doing for chirren'. You need to get some too!
Yo' folk: I shole will, cause you know I love the chirren, and some of that Easy Peasy Caramel Cheesy popcorn from Double Good.
You hit 'em with this QR code! Then you might consider that you don't want no darn popcorn with as hot as it is outside (Don't we love to blame everything on the heat in the summer?🤣)
