Today was a great day, we want to send out a huge congratulations to one of our partners for their grand opening on their new community center. This is a major accomplishment, not only for our ecosystem , but for the African American community as a whole.

Wear Orange Day is the official start of National Gun Violence Awareness Month. Created to honor all survivors and victims of gun violence nationwide, Georgians are encouraged to wear orange on this day to express their awareness of and concern with gun violence in the United States. o.p.e.hustlers joins a host of other cities, states, organizations, and constituents nationwide as we stand in solidarity to fight against this public health crisis.

On Friday, February 9, I experienced a historic and inspiring day at the celebrating graduation with my 30 inaugural cohort leaders of the Crime Lab’s Community Violence Prevention Leadership Academy! 🌟 It was a day of celebration that honored our commitment and dedication to reducing gun violence and improving public safety in our communities.
